Heck, the students in our town drive by with their radios turned way up. You can hear them coming blocks away. Sometimes they would even shake the house if they were parked in your driveway. Didn't have to worry much about drive by shootings but the noise factor got so bad with all the student houses around us downtown, that we moved out of the village.

Carlos Alan Autry was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1952. As a child, he moved with his family to the central San Joaquin valley and grew up in the farming community of Riverdale, California. Alan attended and graduated from Riverdale High School and received a scholarship to attend the University of Pacific as a student athlete. Thanks, Julie. I wondered what had happened to him. I didn't realize he'd been a Packer. My husband is a number one Packer fan. He's been faithful to them no matter how badly they've played through the years. Autry sounds like a winner to me! M
