MIKE WON'T TELL ON ILLEGALS

September 18, 2003 -- Facing mounting criticism from immigrant communities and pressure from the City Council, Mayor Bloomberg yesterday strengthened his "don't tell" policy on someone's immigration status to "don't ask, don't tell." Bloomberg had changed the immigration-reporting policy in May in order to ensure the city was not violating federal law.

Bloomberg is a liberal fag who is a one term joke. We should sue him for having the (R) next to his name.

There is something here that my brain just refuses to wrap around. The cops are not supposed to report to the controlling legal authority if someone is breaking the law.

This is nothing less than the breakdown of the rule of law. Americans have been given a clear signal they can refuse to obey any law with which they disagree. Lawlessness begets lawlessness.

The cops are not supposed to report to the controlling legal authority if someone is breaking the law.

The police enforce the will of the government which mostly, but not always, coincides with the law. You can rest assured that if you own an unregistered firearm, sit on a crate on the sidewalk, have too large an awning in front of your store, or much worse defend yourself from a criminal in NYC, the NYC police will be all over you like flies on $hit.

This is yet another example of why islamic terrorists are not only evil, but stupid as well. Who is the greater threat to your life and liberty, Osama bin Laden or Hitlery Clinton and upChuckie Schumer? Which is more likely to do something that will lower your standard of living or take away your freedom?

Klinton and Schemer are doing far more damage to this country than bin Laden in his most fervent dreams cound imagine, yet the terrorists attacked their natural allies, New Yorkers, the very people who along with the electorate in MA, CT, NJ, RI, CA, MD, and IL send dedicated marxist/statists to Kongress to destroy the county.

But that revised policy led to widespread fear in immigrant communities because it reversed a longstanding rule that prevented city employees, such as police officers or social service workers, from reporting the immigration status of residents to the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

What is wrong with this nutcase? City employees should be receiving bonuses for turning in invaders for immediate expulsion, never to return again.

Where's the money to come from? How about taxes that would be collected if restaurant owners were given back their constitutional right to determine whether or not their patrons could smoke?

Restaurant owners who let patrons smoke are turned in and fined, but invaders are left alone?

How nutty is Bloomberg, anyway?

"When landmark buildings crash to earth ....we all lose."
Bush's dream of amnesty for illegals was crushed on Sept 11. Obviously he has given the green light to Bllomberg to do the next best thing - look the other way while real Americans are losing their jobs. Conservatives have to stop kidding themselves about what the real Bush agenda is.

someone's immigration status to "don't ask, don't tell."

Maybe he should apply the same type of justice to smokers - if no one in a bar or restaurant complains about the smoking, nobody gets fined. Oh nevermind, there's the key word - "fined". They can't make any money by busting illegal aliens, but they make a buttload from fining the legal citizens, which, in turn, finances the programs that benefit the illegal aliens.

Just go buy yourself one of those Mexican I.D. cards and then go smoke all you want, anywhere you want.

If a cop says anything, just start screaming 'ray-ceest, ray-ceest, ray-ceeeest!!!'

That'll get him running faster than a bunch of gang-bangers pulling out loaded, fully-auto, AK 47s. ;^)

And what type of people are going to social service workers? The exact type that should be deported first. Also those committing crimes need to go.

Bloomberg will do more damage to NYC in one term than all the good Rudy did during his two-term tenure.

Rudy was totally pro-illegal. (And pro-gun consfiscation, and gay rights.) Don't make him into something he wasn't.

FITZ, all of the invaders are committing crimes, just by being here illegally. They should all go...no constitutional, legal tricks since they aren't US citizens.

I hope you're advocating that all of those who knowingly hire them are (first time) fined severely, (second time) jailed, (third time) deported permanently to the country of origin of the invaders they hire.

<^..^> (I'm not kidding)

But, but, but you're not using the 'New RINO Math'!

If an illegal alien family gets deported before we have a chance to squander $1,000's and $1,000's of our Tax Dollar$ on them for housing, healthcare, education, food and clothing, "We all lose!"

Fitz, in the future, please try to stay awake during these 'New RINO Math' lessons.

Your questions can only make it harder for RINOs to get elected. Look at the hard time Arnold YODAnegger is having in California.

Conservatives wouldn't be asking silly, unfair questions about how Arnold is going to balance the budget and continue to support the illegal alien hordes, if they understood the 'New RINO Math'!

Fitz, for Karl Rove and the rest of the Republican Party's leadership???, make an effort, please.

"Americans have been given a clear signal they can refuse to obey any law with which they disagree."

That's true, but with one important distinction: the outcasts of our society must obey the law to the Nth degree or face severe penalties. Who are the outcast Americans you ask? Why, the law-abiding, tax-paying, hard working, keep out of trouble, straight, white, Christian males of course!! THEY'RE the ones to exterminate from society.

Everyone - literally everyone - else can use or discard the Constitution and the rule of law (it was only written by white racist homophobes anyway) as they see fit.

Not surprising. Bloomberg is a New York Democrat, despite his nomination as a Republican - and how "Republican" is a New York "Republican" anyway???

Also, Bloomberg joined with other mayors of AMerica's "Problem Cities" to push a suit against gun manufacturers - once again.

Bloomberg belongs in the dustbin of left-wing urban party bosses and liberal urban politicos like his predecessors Giuliani, Koch, Beam, Lindsey, Tweed, etc.

Does the oath of office that Bloomberg took mention protecting against threats, foreign and domestic?

In any event, Bloomberg could be found guilty of aiding and abetting, if nothing else.

Perhaps a recall or trial may be in order?

I'm talking about cleaning up the city's crime and making the place more liveable. I worked there for 17yrs under Koch and Dinkins, and Rudy was a breath of fresh air, compared to those two bumbling morons.

Giuliani was certainly an improvement over Dinkins. I can't say about Koch, because I only arrived here in '85, when things were going downhill for Koch, with the Parking Violations Bureau scandal only weeks away.

And yet, Giuliani has gotten a lot of credit he didn't deserve. Much of his reduction in welfare was fraudulent; he would have welfare clients moved over to much higher-paying, federal disability, which is not calculated as welfare.

And much of Giuliani's reduction in crime was through fudging the numbers as well. His PD bosses taught patrol officers to "disappear" crime, by turning felonies into misdemeanors or non-crimes, and an unknown quantity of major felonies (rapes, murders, and non-lethal shootings) somehow never made it into the books. I know this, because periodically the NYPD would get caught.

The media would report on the individual cases, but would never connect the dots, because they were busy selling the fiction that Giuliani's NYPD was persecuting blacks (so-called racial profiling). In fact, in several racial crime incidents during the Giuliani years (black-on-white attacks), I encountered white cops who were utterly worthless, so scared were they of enforcing the law against blacks.

I do give Giuliani credit, though, because he was working in spite of hellacious black racism, that sought to cripple his mayoralty before he was even inaugurated, and which enjoyed the support of most of the New York media.

Mayor Bloomberg yesterday strengthened his "don't tell" policy on someone's immigration status to "don't ask, don't tell."

Maybe the individual citizens of New York should extend the same policy to their ownership of firearms.

Do you think Hizzoner would object?
