Actually it would be REALLY cool if the Serbs fixed the Twin Towers of Sarajevo, "Momo and Uzeir", which they blew up with their artillery.

And, although I occasionally post insults to the Honor of the Serbian People on this board, I don't really mean them; I just know that it ticks off mindless chetniks of the Wend/Destro/AlternateReality variety. If you really don't mean it, don't say it. Over the years, I've seen poster say much worse and mean every word. On this forum, words are all we have. When I read you spewing venom about the Serbian people as a whole, what am I to believe about how you percieve them?

When I am accused of being a Muslim, married to a Muslim, called a slavering catamite of Osama Bin Laden AND Bill Clinton simultaneously, while being told that a pile of corpses that haunts my dreams to this day are a lie and that they were really Serb victims of Muslim genocide dredged up by the Conspiracy rather than what I know to be true... I tend to be, shall we say, a bit rude.
I saw what I saw, I know what I know.
Your paranoid compatriots, who know no language but slander, libel and denegration, really should listen to your words as well.

Thanks for the link--that's a new one; interesting.

More like sad, Mark. On their return from conquest, Roman generals had a slave who whispered in their ear "remember you are just mortal," as their rode through the cheering crowds. Even pagan Romans, with whom we find so much in common in other matters, realized that no matter how big our feat, how ciivlized and superior our state, human failing is within us, lest we be quick to judge others, and hold them to a higher standard.
Ours is to condemn the wrong, for we know what is wrong, but not to think we are without sin.

As for slowly rebuilding, guess what: about 80% of Bosnia's industrial base was destroyed by the war the Serbs started. $85 billion total war damage. Sure they're rebuilding the churches slowly. The war began with the Croats attacking federal police officers of Serb descent in Bosanski Brod... The muslims of bosnia attacked a Serbian wedding party, killing the Priest, bride and groom.
Explain how you would live under Alija's rule with his allegiance to radical Islam?

Hoplite of course forgets the Forensic Experts who testified at the ICTY that 1,800 bodies were found...........
at least 1/3 (600) were BiH soliders killed in a fair fight............
the rest of the bodies were found in and around villages were Nasir Oric's execution squads operated
Hoplite is also the one who refuses to condem Nasir Oric.

Actually Judy if one reads the Judge's instructions to the Jury in the ITV-LM trial, it is clear that the Judge agreed that ITV lied.
the Judge told the Jury that they had to decide if the ITV crew deliberatly manufactured a lie.
The burden of proof in English Libel Law is on the defendent. (In this case LM). LM had to prove that IVT lied and deliberately did so.
The Judge agreed that ITV lied. The Jury felt that ITV was too dimwitted to do so deliberately.
Hoplite is trying to twist the facts of the case around as is his wont.

re Racak:
1) Racak was a anti-KLA Albanian Village
2) KLA Commander Buja testified that he had some 45 KLA fighters enter the village the day in question and gangpress (aka 'ask for volunteers') locals into fighting. He gangpressed the young, the middle aged, and the elderly
3) One of the dead villagers was found inside his house. Could he have been shot for not responding to the call up ?
4) The entire firefight was filmed by a ABC news crew. The filmed version of events is very different than Hoplite's version
5) The KLA lost the firefight, but stayed in the village overtnight. Buja testified ( I recall may be off by a few numbers) that some 25-30 of his KLA fighters died that day.
6) The gangpressed villagers ( evidently not part of the Buja's total) were found the next day in the ditch.
7) The KLA refused to allow Kfor investigators into the village in 2000. They used AK-47's to threaten the investigators.
8) Virtually the entire KLA leadership cadre has been arrested and found guilty (by Kfor) for murdering Albanians. Some suggest that the KLA murdered over 1,000 Albanians
After review of these salient facts, one can only conclude that Hoplite's version of Racak is a wild speculation based on conspiricy tales told to him by the KLA

vooch it was 12 KLA that had been killed during this deception. To support what you and I are saying take the recent premeditated killing of the Serbs in Pristina and surrounding areas. The KLA planned a distraction at Mitrovica knowing that KFOR would deploy thier dwindling numbers there. The result open season on the remaining Serb problem. Of course the Serbs could defend themselves in Mitrovica and the Albanians knew this while the real objective in other areas they could not and perished with the blessing of the KLA murdering leadership.
This is a classic KLA deception like what happened at Racak and if people out there do not see the KLA as the murdering terrorist thugs they are these individuals should consider moving to Albania and start praying to the east. I saw it in 1999 and the Serbs have known about it for hundreds of years. The west is just starting to see what we are up against. In short let the Serbs back into Kosovo to deal with the KLA and rule with a fair hand.

Yes as a matter of fact I do. The were taken to a nearby village called Malepolje or Malepolce. Been a while and the names do fade.
