The simplest answer is the right answer. Who benefited most from Kennedy's death?

Jim Garrison and Oliver Stone

Have fun laughing about whatever. But I will have believed it for for forty years come 22 Nov., 2003.

Many of us who lived then and were reading everything we could get about current events knew -- there was no free press then TV news was pretty much like today but US News and Time were fairly reliable in those days. Plus there were several limited circulation publications that carried stories about LBJ, Bobby Baker, Billie Sol Estes, et al.

The mainstream was not yet after the president. They covered the "anti-war" rants against LBJ and they did cover Estes and Baker in the manner that Clinton scandals were covered. To wit, they were mentioned but none had legs. Of course, sex sells so Monica was wall-to-wall.

From what I read and what I saw I knew LBJ was involved. Hell, If LBJ had been close to Elvis I'd believe Elvis fired the shots. There are not enough pejorative words in the dictionary to describe that pure evil SOB. I've long believed his body should be dug up and burned. We was Rasputin's evil twin.

This book by Barr McClellan I believe contains pretty good proof that Malcolm E. "Mac" Wallace was in the room where the shots were fired. Wallace had a long-time close association with LBJ and had in fact been convicted of murder but served no time for the crime. He likely was to blame for many more murders. He was killed in an auto accident 30 years ago.

The "sniper's nest" was extensively fingerprinted including comparing all persons in any way connected to that room including law enforcement. All prints were identified except one.

I'm not sure who's hunch did it but in the late 1990's I believe it was McClellan's group who compared Wallace's prints to the unknown print. They matched well beyond that required by law for positive ID. This is suppose to be in the book along with lots of new information and information that fell through the cracks of the mainstream over the years.

Actually I read less than 200 of them so it seems I exaggerated...! I kept them all for a while then ended up giving them to a charity a few years ago. So many are repetitive. The one by David Lifton was one of the most chilling. There have been many written since I quite "researching". It seems you're fascinated with the topic yourself.

There is an interesting book out about LBJ titled "Power Beyond Reason" and it is a recent book that makes some wild claims about LBJ. In brief the book chronicles the fact that LBJ was a manic-depressive and pretty much out of his mind. As for myself, perhaps I should read both books and perhaps a third, LBJ Means of Ascent before I am persuaded either way. The thing that makes me pause on this is that RFK was the Attorney General when this happened with all the information at his disposal. My question is could'nt he have made a case against LBJ and pursued it?

Thinking back on all the titles I read about the assassination, it may have well topped 200. Now I have 1200+ to go! Which ones do you find to be the most convincing? And do you think LBJ was involved? The Texas connection of course always was suspicious to begin with.

JFK was killed by a lone madman (Lee Harvey Oswald) with a crappy rifle, just like the gov't said.

The gov't sealed the records for 75 years simply because they were trying to save the taxpayers some money. By making the records private, they wouldn't have to make millions of copies for the American people.

How long will it be before the government makes the documents related to the Kennedy assassination unclassified?

Everything truly pertinent was available when Pricilla McMillan wrote Marina and Lee, the defintive explanation of why Kennedy was shot, in the mid-1970's.

The Democrats don't want to acknowledge the truth, that Communist Oswald, fresh from the Cuban Embassy in Mexico City, shot Kennedy for being anti-communist. For to do so would requiring acknowledging that the Communist threat was more than real.

And some Republicans here don't want to acknowledge the truth, that the martyred Democratic President died for a conservative cause.

...all the way with LBJ.

"Hey, hey, LBJ...How many boys did you kill today?"

So, why DID he order the limo completely cleaned...all clues vanished...immediately afterward?

BTW, enhanced digital renditions of the Zapruder film clearly show the DRIVER of the limo turned toward JFK with a shiny object in his hand pointed directly at Kennedy's head when the limo emerges from behind the sign. Immediately afterward was when Jackie opted to exit the limo completely, via the trunk. The other Secret Service guy--in the passenger side--was hunkered down on the floor mat...exactly OPPOSITE to the training protocol, which required him to be firing a weapon toward the sound of the shots!

The government said Oswald was a madman? Who said that?

Actually, the official story depicts Oswald a dedicated and rational Communist.
