The Top 10 Democratic Lies By John Kanelous 8/5/2003 "In 50 years New York City is going to be underwater from global warming," 2002, former president Bill Clinton. Democratic leaders, who profess the importance of education, are constantly lying to the American people, and particularly to their base, the ignorant and ill-informed who are eating this stuff up and spreading it like wild-fire. How do I know? I pay attention. Watch C-Span, and you will get the picture too.
Truth: The overwhelming majority of land based ice is on the continent of Antarctica, where the average year around temperature is more than 60 degrees below zero. The average temperature would have to rise by more than 60 degrees to melt the Antarctic ice cap. Hardly something we need to worry about in the near future.
Truth: Bush wants to help make Social Security more efficient by allowing people some control over the money that is deducted from their pay. Lie #5: Bush is dumb. He is not smart enough to be President.
Truth: Democrats cant recognize Bushs sincerity because they think lying is what all Presidents do to stay in power. Truth: Democrats want to raise taxes, but they wont admit it. Democrats want to scale back our military superiority, but they wont admit it. Democrats are against developing an anti-ballistic missile shield, but they wont admit it. Democrats are against getting tough with our enemies, but they wont admit it. Democrats are agnostics, but they wont admit it. Democrats are against civilian ownership of guns, but they wont admit it. Democrats fear patriotism, but they wont admit it. Democrats prefer socialism, but they wont admit it. Democrats think the American people are dumb, but they wont admit it. Democrats are hoping the economy goes into the tank, but they wont admit it. Democrats are hoping things in Iraq go badly, but they wont admit it. They have to lie, they know they will never get back the power they lost, if they tell the truth to a now right-leaning public.
Truth: Everyone who pays taxes, got a tax cut.
Truth: Democrats would rather have no tax cut than one that would help the rich, but since the rich pay 90% of all U.S. taxes, its pretty hard to design a tax bill that would not help them. Therefore, with Democrats in power, there were never any tax cuts for anybody. Truth: The stock market is up 23% this year.
Truth: Other reasons were cited by the President, included the tortures to Iraqi citizens, like throwing screaming people into tree shredders, sometimes feet first to prolonging the inhumanity. And Saddam Husseins support of Hamas, a known terrorist group, by paying the families of suicide bombers a bonus of $25,000.
Truth: Bush had nothing to do with the collapse of Enron and other corporate giants.
Lie #11: Bush's Tax Cuts haven't worked.
Note: The lies keep piling up, so now there is more than 10.
Lie #12: "Bush turned a 5 trillion dollar surplus into a 5 trillion dollar defecit." Truth: The projected defecit for 2003 is 450 billion dollars. Evidentally, the general has trouble with billions and trillions, or he knows the difference, but believes Democrat's don't.
Truth: There never was a 5 trillion dollar surplus.
Lie #13: "Bush's failed policies has caused a 2.7 million job loss"
Truth: 9/11 caused the job loss, along with a downturn in the economy that started in the last year of the Clinton administration. 9/11 also caused a 370 billion loss to the economy, plus a three trillion dollar capital loss in the stock market crash that immediately followed this disaster. Truth: Bush's policies since 9/11 has caused a rebound in the economy which eventually will result in more jobs for people. Truth: At the peak of Clinton's administration the unemployment rate was 3.7 percent. Our unemplyment rate is 6.1 percent and dropping. The difference is only 2.4 percent. During the Hoover administration the rate was 35 percent unemployed. This is hardly a good comparison, but the Democrats keep using it anyway. Either they are ignorant, or they think we are.
What will these wascally Democrat's think of next? Stay tuned

As an aside, I laugh when I hear people say that Bush got his Harvard MBA handed to him. I know many Harvard MBAs and they will tell you that no one gets that handed to them. It doesnt matter who their Daddy is—because there are sons and daughters of Kings, Princes, President’s and Senators at Harvard every day. Bush would have been the kids of a back bencher when he was there. Not without influence, but certainly not enough to “buy him” a degree.
And on top of that, he flew jets. I know the Air Force doesnt let idiots do that. The jets are too expensive to allow idiots to crash them all over the place.
Yeah, Bill Burkett was jealous because he couldn't get in to the TxANG, emphasis on "A".
I always considered that the mark of real accomplishment. You can't use influence or intimidation or family contacts to fly a jet, you need to master an entire set of difficult and unforgiving tasks.
Well, I am no Archimedes, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :-)
I was going to tell you to check out conservapedia (the Conservative answer to the liberal wikipedia, but we don't have eureka in it...
Actually a lot of rich people like the Democrats. The Democrats are actually the party of economic status quo, the Republicans are party of the aspiring classes.
A lot of wealthy people, especially those whose wealth is inherited or dependent on state granted franchises, are frightened by social and economic change. Teachers fear school choice, Rockefellers fear economic mobility.
Actually, wikipedia isn’t that bad. Check out the articles on Bill Burkett or Mary Mapes. (They call him a liar, her delusional.) The Global Warming article, admittedly, gives short shrift to skeptics, but overall they aren’t really that bad.
This article is informative and entertaining, but it needs a great deal of editing so that it can be used more effectively. Many misspellings, improper use of apostrophes (e.g., using “Democrat’s” as the plural for Democrat) make the article less effective than it ought to be. Great observations, however.
Did you see that bridge in California (I think) last week that had a fuel truck roll over underneath it and the heat from the fire of the fuel melted the steel and the bridge collapsed?
Also, I don't know for sure but I thought there were four columns in the middle of the WTC Buildings 1 and 2 that was the main support for the building. These big beams basically ran up the middle of the towers. Those four beams were the main support of the building. Not a chicken wire type structure. I may be wrong though. I will have to look that up.
I am just giving you a option that you can freely choose to use or not use.
It spawned several other just as funny moonbat threads.
These people are beyond help
The whole point of bringing up the DU post is that it is so self-evidently risible.
Anyone who understands Archimedes’ principle knows that melting sea ice cannot cause sea levels to rise. Anyone who does not understand Archimedes’ principle ought not to be offering opinions on intractably difficult issues like Global Warming.
If they would just allow me too, I could help the moonbats. Give me some blind folds, exploding cigars, I got the guns and ammo (may need more ammo), and out of their misery they will go.
And that would help us all.
Yeah, see my #56.
