North of Baghdad, Iraq, on the trail of Bruce Willis,
at his concert in Taal Afar airfield for Heroes of the 101st Airborne Division


In Baghdad, at the al-Aike Hotel, a bomb exploded outside the hotel,
killing a Somali guard and injuring a Canadian sound engineer
working with the NBC (moderately proterrorist) television network.


========= Mosul =========

In Mosul, during a training course for Iraqi soldiers
organized by the 101st Airborne division.


In Mosul, after the training course.


In Mosul, a Humvee was destroyed by an explosive device.
Seven American soldiers were wounded from two roadside bombs exploded
as their convoy passed at about 9 a.m. on the western side of the city.


========= Bamiyan, AFGHANISTAN =========

SUCCESS: Heroes of the Coalition Work Together

In Bamiyan, 80 miles northwest of Kabul, heroes for Freedom from New Zealand
and the US honor the New Zealand flag.


In Bamiyan, the New Zealand heroes take a break and perform their
traditional warrior dance, the 'haka'.

The 'Haka' dance, for some reason, reminds me of the 'macarena'..

I would NOT want to be on the receiving end of negative attention by those female police officers...

Brit Hume on Special Report (FoxNews channel) is supposed to have a special about the "good" that has been accomplished in Iraq.

Steve Harrigan, FN reporter, just returned from news duty in Iraq. He mentioned this morning on Fox and Friends that Brit would be doing this special on Special Report.

FYI. Special Report with Brit Hume is due to air in about 35 minutes on FoxNews Channel.
