Simon is a complete failure, a loser of the first rank.
Which means your exclusive club has a total of two member then.

Have fun voting FOR more gun control and a pro-abortion candidate.

Looks like McEgo only cares about himself! Perhaps he should stick to the promise he made to Issa in the beginning. I guess, like clinton, he will only keep the promises "he meant to keep".

So let me get this straight...Simon and Issa didn't have a prayer to get your vote because one ran a lousy campaign and the other shouldn't have been in the race because he funded the recall (which relied heavily on grass roots activism and the support of over a million voters)? You have to admit, those are extremely weak reasons to not vote for either one of 'em.
Not at all. I concluded they were weak candidates weeks before the weaknesses of their candidacies led them to drop out of the race. Schwarzenegger, while a much stronger candidate, is wrong on too many issues for too many voters who now intend to vote for McClintock. Without the benefit of a nomination by primary, where those types of things, along with party platforms, get hashed out, Schwarzenegger needs to understand why there is still reisistance within his own party to his candidacy. There is no presumptive mandate for his slate of positions. Therefore, if he's sincerely interested in party unity, he needs to address that resistance on a positive fashion.

"I don't know what it is that people find so astonishing about a politician who actually keeps his promises," McClintock stated. I would be astonished if career politician Tom McClintock would keep his promise to not be a spoiler and get out of the race.
But I am not holding my breath.

Was Issa endorsing Arnold any surprise? Heres what the snake said a month ago:
In late August, I met Darrell Issa and asked him about the Republican split. He asked, ''When's your story running?'' Assured I wouldn't scoop the convention, he said, with a knowing smile, ''It'll get much clearer at the convention.'' He planned to endorse Arnold on the first night.
''We'll see how Tom McClintock feels when he sees his political career going down the toilet, '' Issa said.

Peter Uebberoth will follow I am sure.
He listed the Irvine Company as his employer per opensecrets.
Not much doubt where his alliances lead either.
