Cry me a river, they're lucky we don't make them walk back.

NAH, how 'bout a nice trip to france? I hear there are 19,000 openings for 'something' the french don't want to do.

The last post I made on this subject got pulled, so instead of commenting I will resort to acrimonious snearing...

Illegal "immigration" angers Americans. You may want to qualify that statement: Illegal "immigration" angers sane Americans.

I am beginning to think that the only thing we can do to stem the tide is jail American businessmen and farmers who employ these people. They are bankrupting this country by hiring these people and they should be bankrupted themselves. Agreed.
We should also try to make arangements to take all illegals to Honduras and push them across the Southern Mexican border. Give them 1,500 miles to walk next time.

One thing that's weird to me is that I know a lot of illegals who work their rear ends off and are pretty decent people. So how come you can't make a living in Mexico? There are great natural resources, etc, etc, etc. Could the reason possibly be socialism?
To: kattracks
and if UNWRA comes in and sets up permanent refugee camps, then we will just have to live with it too!

"It has taken more than 3,000 migrants from the Arizona desert, where authorities were recording roughly one migrant death per day, usually from dehydration or heat stroke."
Let's open this up even further.
These "smugglers" are termed "coyotes". They are in the business of selling people. The arrangements have two sides. One on the Mexican side to smuggle the people in. Another on our side to receive these people.
Typically, the financial arrangements are set so the people smuggled into the US will not pay until they are "settled" in the states. Once here, these people are indebted servants of the "coyotes" within our country. They are often brutalized and MURDERED if they miss a payment.
The illegal immigrants have nowhere to turn for help. They cannot go to the police as they would be identifying themselves as illegal immigrants.
Not a day passes when the body of a suspected illegal immigrant turns up in some field or alley within our country.
I'm at a loss to understand how Mexican officials can object to our treatment of their citizens, yet refrain from condemning the inhumane and brutal treatment by their own citizens.
The INS should buy commercial time on Mexican airwaves to warn the potential victims of their own citizens.

Hey ... interesting statement.
Are you aware Mexico has strict immigration laws barring immigration from countries south of Mexico?
To: dirtboy
Not completely true. I'm from South Texas. Many of the illegals have networks that supply a fake S.S. card and Driver's License. Ive even seen fake birth certificates. The prospective employer may suspect they are illegal, but you dont really know. It is rampant in the construction industry, mainly commercial and residential where the smaller construction subcontractors dont check as thoroughly.
To: kattracks
No sympathy for ILLEGAL INVADERS !!! Deport them with catapults.
