Note to Mexico: Give us free crude, so we can keep your free loaders warm and our industry competitive, so they and we, can all lead useful, productive and comfortable lives. Keep your crud if Mexican crude is not part of the deal.

Two things would solve this:

1) Deport the illegals, via a barge, all the way down to Cancun.

2) Offer a cash bounty for dead illegals, equal to the cost of the barge ride, minus the cost of a wood casket and grave on our side of the river where the grave markers would be visible from the other side.

"Could the reason possibly be socialism?"

Hmmm, no, it's not socialism.

While Mexico did socialize the oil and telecommunications industries, it left most of the rest of society intact.

Mexico, unlike the US and Canada, does not have socialized medicine. Private medical insurance is almost unheard of. This keeps the cost of medical services in Mexico very reasonable.

The Mexican version of Social Security is only for retirement, and meant as a supplement to personal retirement savings or investments.

Credit, the dog of corporate socialization is almost unheard of in Mexico. It is basically a cash society. The purchase of a home, car, grocieries and clothes are cash transactions.

The Mexican government tried borrowed billions, and met with extreme financial crisis. They are headed back toward a cash flow government.

When, and if they make it, they could be a good example to our borrow and spend politicians.

Sympathetic illegal alien article #2,749,861.

Yep. The dead giveaway hit right off the bat when they're referred to as "migrants." Whadda crock.

Oh...and to the "angered" Mexicans? Who cares what you're angry about? Just go be angry in your own third-world country. We don't want to hear about it. You don't belong here.

You are thinking right. Businesses need to be held accountable. We should put the emphasis on business and that would stop this altogether. Big fines would be ok with me, but dont expect the whimpy RINOs to do a thing when it comes to stopping this - its up to you and me with petitions, electing responsible politicians, and boycotts of businesses that hire illegal aliens.

Most Americans do not understand Mexico.

A few key issues:

1. Mexico is a racist country.

No, the United States is not a racist country; the United States has done more to eliminate structural racism than any other country in the history of civilization.

Mexico is run by white-skinned, Europeans. Mexicans of mixed-blood are darker-skinned and discriminated against.

These are the Mexicans that we see in the United States; they come here for opportunities that they are denied at home.

2. Mexico is run by a couple dozen billionaires and several thousands of manorial families. There is not much of a middle class.

Nafta, as promoted, did not change this, in fact, made matters worse. Indigenous corn farmers have been run out of business by international agribusiness corporations that seek to dominate world agriculture. These are the same corporations that are running American family farms out of business.

3. Mexican universities and "intellectuals" are dominated by the ideas of the European Left. One reason that the United States has allowed illegal immigration is to vent the steam. If the millions of poor Mexicans did not leave Mexico, and send money to their families back home, these people would be easily influenced by the ideas of a Marxist revolution.

4. The PRI party controlled the Mexican presidency from the revolution in the early 1900's until recently. President Fox is the first PAN party member to achieve the presidency, but he has failed miserably. One might argue that the PRI still controls the country.

The PRI controlled Mexico longer than the Bolsheviks controlled the Soviet Union.

I'm at a loss to understand how Mexican officials can object to our treatment of their citizens, yet refrain from condemning the inhumane and brutal treatment by their own citizens.

Just a guess:

hypocrisy (hî-pòk´rî-sê) noun
plural hypocrisies

1. The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
2. An act or instance of such falseness.

Whether the word translates directly to Spanish I'm not sure, and one might think it doesn't after watching the behavior of the Mexcian government and groups like LULAC, MALDEF, MECHA, and La Raza.

But there's no mistake that they understand the concept.

"We don't like Juarez being used as a point for massive deportations," ... "The city is not prepared to deal with this, and there is already a shortage of jobs here. It's a bad situation. People are sleeping in parks and under bridges."

Hmmm...

"We don't like Juarez California being used as a point for massive deportations," ... "The city State is not prepared to deal with this, and there is already a shortage of jobs here. It's a bad situation. People are sleeping in parks and under bridges."

There. That's more like it.

If we are to follow the rule of law as a nation, that is our only choice. But the American people have to put the pressure on our government to enforce. That will probably mean a lot of senators and congressmen will have to give up their nannies, housekeepers and gardeners too.

So start with your local government. Get a bunch of people to visit your elected officials and let them know you expect the law to be enforced. Then make sure they do it.

Illegal immigration is really a unique problem because both business interests and the left are in favor of it. What troubles me most is how little concern there is over the fact that these people are voting illegally, and how so many politicians (D) openly solicit those votes. I can't tell if it's the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy of election fraud or the 'outing' of political corruption.

One thing that's weird to me is that I know a lot of illegals who work their rear ends off and are pretty decent people. So how come you can't make a living in Mexico? There are great natural resources, etc, etc, etc. Could the reason possibly be socialism?

It's not socialism as much as the fact that Mexican government officials by and large are a bunch of thoroughly corrupt banditos who suck the lifeblood out of their own countrymen. American officials are the model of integrity in comparison.

The pilot program has caused anger on the Mexican side, where town officials say they are ill-equipped for the influx of deportees. "We don't like Juarez being used as a point for massive deportations," city spokesman Ricardo Chavez said. "The city is not prepared to deal with this, and there is already a shortage of jobs here. It's a bad situation. People are sleeping in parks and under bridges."

The very gall of these people makes me want to run them ALL out past central america and take the whole danged country as US territory.

You may be on to something here. We should deport them in the Mexican tourist towns. This would really piss off the businesses in these towns and possibly cause them to do something about it.
