It was a damp and muggy day in Boston when I met up ElectricStrawberry and the rest of the Boston Freepers, on the steps of the Boston Public Library, Copley SQ, at 1215. The Commies, Palis, rats, and other assorted off brands were preparing to hold a catch all protest on the Green in front of Trinity Church and then a march to the Israeli Councilate. We were fully equiped with FReepin' stuff, flags and signs and were eager to confront the gay, lesbian, transgendered, drug addled, feminist, potental deportees, self loathing Jews, and the other trash that make up the Boston Antiwar crowd

Now I am a veteran of a lot of FReepin' in Boston and Boston is a College Town with a lot of Red Diaper Babies, Watermelons, Anarchists, and Howard Dean voters, you know the types. I look up Boyleston Street and the Commies are set up in their usual place, but I don't see alot of them, generally on a big push, this one was, they fill the Green. I mentioned this to Electric and he pointed out that they are usually late and they probably were still recovering from the excesses of the night before, OK, we cross the street when their permit starts and set up. After a little confab with the Cops, we are seperated by about 50 yards and start our counterprotest.

It was quiet, in Boston quiet is not a good thing, generally a Boston FReep is a wild thing, a lot of interaction with people walking by and with the protesters, some of the boys and girls had some contact but it was generally mild. So we maintain a presence, a dozen true Americans and a bunch of Socialist scum. After a while the Cops ask me what we are going to do because the march was about to start, I told him that we were going to follow them maintaining a seperation and stay on the sidewalk, While we were waiting I took a walk for a crowd estimate, the reason it was so quiet is that by a real generious estimate there were only 200 people at their rally, THIS IS BOSTON for Christs sake.

The march starts we stick to the sidewalk up Boyleston Street toword the Common, when one of the Cops informs me that we can march in the street behind the commies, which is what we wanted to do in the first place, because of an incedent, I have no details Bostonian Rightest can fill you in I think. So we march up the street, up Beacon Street, down Park Street, east on Tremont Street, down to Park Place to the Israeli Councilate. ( A note to those who were at the big protest last March, the Arlington Street Church played the frog national anthem again.) The commies had a yell in for awhile about blood, oil, imperialism, GW, Jews being bad people, and dead rag heads, trying to find a centeral theme, beats the hell out of me, it is interesting to note that the person, Steve Kirchbaum who was doing the yelling is A Self Loathing Jew and admitted today that he is a member of the WWP.

there was a bit of an incident. As we were getting on the street i stepped in front of a POS van, one of the marchers started yelling at me; he had to be restrained by the cops.

I, but mostly JMT576, was having fun with a rather pudgy young fella in the van. JMT can fill you in.

The gay/lesbian/transgender folk really didn't like my/guinnessboy's sign "Howard Dean is a fairy." we had to explain it to a lesbian film student; we said it was as factual as the Bush-Hitler signs.

Not much else to say, but there were some "Anti-war" protesters that left their rally because it was clearly hijacked by the pro-Pali, pro-terrorist group.....and these somewhat wiser students didn't want to be associated with those scum.

No this term is used by religious Jews to describe secular Jews who are not religious or Zionist. It was best described to me by a Jewish FReeper friend, "They would be helping the Nazis load people into the ovens...". They have a tendancy to be very left.

That is priceless, anyone uploading any photos? the problem here was that they had approximately one issue for each of the participants, it was confusing as hell for the passer by I'm sure. They looked like a bunch of dumb dogs chasing their tales out there, all issues portrayed based on non fact i was waiting for them to load into their spaceships at the end of the rally. Very pretty young women in the city yesterday as always, was glad to throw a few winks their way. Some pro patriots out there as well, the Duck tours seemed to dig us. I'm ready for the next one to expose the dunkoffs

150 sounds about right. one of the speakers at the end of the rally said that those "few" people there were speaking for the millions...Electric looked over at me and said, "now the Globe is going to say there were millions here." i'm glad to see the Globe has gotten some sense, but i dont think that sense will stay with them.
