When I called the CIA in July, they confirmed Mrs. Wilson's involvement in a mission for her husband on a secondary basis Well, there's a crime right there. "Neither confirm nor deny" I was always told - but the CIA just went ahead and CONFIRMED to an uncleared person the fact that she worked there. What gives?

I LOVE Novak, even when I disagree with him.
Frum is a twerp who should go back to Canada. I haven't heard of this idiot, but would like him to catch the next innertube to Castro's Workers Paradise.

Besides.. Novak HAS SAID REPEATEDLY that his information DID NOT COME FROM THE WHITEHOUSE ~OR~ THIS ADMINISTRATION!!! So, once again.. I think it was WILSON himself could have been the culprit!Novak, has said that he got the information from two senior administration officials - just that they didn't call him to leak it.

I'm trying to find the original article or a source for this information regarding "two senior administration officials" do you have an article or anything?
Thanks in advance if you do.

"In July I was interviewing a senior administration official on Ambassador Wilson's report when he told the trip was inspired by his wife, a CIA employee
working on weapons of mass destruction. Another senior official told me the same thing. As a professional journalist with 46 years experience in
Washington I do not reveal confidential sources. When I called the CIA in July to confirm Mrs. Wilson's involvement in the mission for her husband -- he
is a former Clitnon administration official -- they asked me not to use her name, but never indicated it would endanger her or anybody else. According to a
confidential source at the CIA, Mrs. Wilson was an analyst, not a spy, not a covert operator, and not in charge of an undercover operatives..."

Thanks, appreciate.
I would imagine the Phone logs will reveal who this was.

Two questions:
1. Novak said it was not the White House, but an administration source (which could mean any of a million people in the Executive Branch). So why the specific probe of the White House, and not, say, the CIA?
2. Tenet has gotten a pass on 9-11, etc. He's a Clinton-holdover whose performance has been debatable at best. Who's to say that he or someone in his office is not the leak?
