And, by the way, Levi Strauss was the last holdout to try to keep its manufacturing in the U.S. Nope. I used to buy Levis. I stopped when they stopped making them in the US (or when I couldn't find their few made-in-USA products). Wrangler, on the other hand, is still made in the USA, as are some other brands (LL Bean, Certified Jean Co. in Texas, etc.).

Oh, please, Destro. They didn't think of locating overseas? Is that why Levis closed about 60 of their plants and sent those jobs overseas almost 20 years ago?

Nobody cares any longer about the American Middle Class.Yep. Same as it ever was.
Tax us and keep us occupied.

can anyone suggest good quality made in america jeans?
To: Destro
``We're in an industry where few apparel brands own and operate manufacturing facilities in North America,'' Chief Executive Phil Marineau said. ``In fact, we are one of the last companies to do so.'' Pointer Brand, made in TN, about $25. I think Levi's problem is they want to sell large quantities to Walmart who is going to squeeze them.

I my self am starting to open my eyes.I will only buy Cahr Hart.I once wore levis know I am tring to learn more about what is really made in USA. Because in 10-15 yrs if we all don't start buying USA products two things we will be doing. Working for the Goverment or Recieving from them.
If anyone has information on a site that might show all american made products please let me know
