What makes you think that having Arnold campaign for Republicans would be a good thing?

This has played out nationally. All the conservatives know the score. Arnold would create far more trouble for the party than it was worth.

Total chaos on the RAT front, the bleeding must be far more severe than even the polls indicate. Now we definitely want McClintock to stay in the race. Since the RATS are throwing all of their eggs into the question 1 basket, we want every last voter energized to get to the polls and vote "Yes" on part one.

So shall it be written. :O)

And you guys thought our state was amusing (FL). This is better than anything we did down here. I love it. So is everyone going to march to Sacramento and yell at Davis to "get out of Arnie's house"? I would just love that!!!!

A local radion station here announced just such a plan this week. LOL!

Remember that half of his (Arnold's) supporters . . .

Sorry about that.

If Bill Clinton had made the request of Cruz, I would expect that he would withdraw ("Cruz, either you withdraw or, who knows, a terrible accident could befall you"). But Dufus has no such clout. Maybe Cruz is going to jump onto his version of the "straight talk express":

"The glowing compliments you made about Tom to Jim came two days ago. Now two days later, you say, "I think he was a good man, and he did go off the deep end. What a shame."

==

I am not going to continue this with you Hover.

Apparently you don't seem to be able to understand that both things can be true. Someone can have a lot of good qualities, but still get you very exasperated by his actions.

I think Jim Robinson can read or skip my posts, can ban me, he can do anything he wants. I also think he is plenty smart enough to see through your little attampts of trying to turn him against me.

So go peddle your little schemes elsewhere.

ONTOS-ON RESPONDED TO FORESTER: "My politics are probably just as conservative as you, but I really think that even if McClintock could win, it would not be the best result for us. I actually believe that Arnold would be the only one who could have enough wide and popular support to actually force the legislature to acquiesce in the changes he wants made. If they remain stubborn, then Arnold could have a tremndous effect on the 2004 California legisilative elections, not to mention the effect he and this action -could have on Bush's chances of taking the state. Arnold has the potential ability to be the next Great Communicator."

I am about as conservative as someone can get and I favor ARNOLD FOR GOVERNOR and TOM FOR U.S. SENATOR.

Yep. I see there is also a thread regarding a pending expose on Arnold by the LA Times.

Got yer tin foil hat on?

When posting on FR, it's customary to CC someone if they are mentioned in a post.

Don't flatter yourself FO. This site isn't all about you, and attempts to turn Jim Robinson against you. It's a site where conservatives post their thoughts.

Nothing more, nothing less.

And Rabid Republican was right. A hit bird flutters.

I wonder what kind of dirt on Arnold the LA Slimes will reveal during the last week of the campaign.

Hey Joe, I live in an area that doesn't get many political commercials, Oregon politics yes, but not California politics. Could you please explain what the commercial says for me?

I'm 251 posts behind, but can't wait to see what happens. If he DOES drop out, I really wonder what the 'squishy Republicans' on this Forum have to say. Possibly that they would feel better about CONVICTIONS? Nah! Squishy IS squishy.

If Bustamante does withdraw (and I'm not sure what he will do, though he is being pounded by the Davis folks), I don't see how that can really help Davis at this point. The Davis people must believe that the Bustamante backers were going to vote "yes" on recall and now there will be fewer of them.

The conservatives are motivated to vote. We are known as "broken glass Republicans." We would crawl over broken glass to get to the polling place. Compare this to "broken record Democrats."

You have to have a thick skin around here, especially if you dare to support a candidate who you tend to agree with. Let's see what happens. The last week of a campaign lasts forever if you are in the lead, and goes by in an instant if you are trailing.
