.I assume by this you support the attacks from Davis on Arnold. You support the women who are coming forward out of the woodwork, who have been silent for years, some of whom have been proven democrat operatives? You support the politics of personal destruction being waged by the Davis machine? Take it from me, a woman, if these women were really hurt, upset, degraded, and had life ruining encounters with Arnold, they would not have waited until a few days before the election to say so. Please!!!!

Such (SHOULD-BE) common sense, so well said. All these FReepers (!!!) rewarding the Demo's, rewarding Bob Mulholland, rewarding Gray Davis, dancing to their music like automata, refusing to learn even from RECENT history... it really is breathtaking.

This statement can be gainsaid, but not refuted.

Yes, you TOTALLY misrepresented me. My entire essay is the refutation.

Ooh, good point. But then, a lot of Arnold-bashers are also anti-Bush.

Abortion is not the issue in this election.

It is for me and for "Pro-Choice Women Republicans" who say they wouldn't support Arnold if he were pro-life (Fox & Friends 10/4). No, we must make it the issue. Otherwise, we're providing the rope to hang ourselves.

Thanks, BibChr, for hanging your head out there to be chopped off.

LOL, got that one right, and I knew it was coming. There was hesitation in clicking the "Post" button.

But along the way there's been some nice encouragement, like yours. Thanks.

However, I confess, I bailed about a third of the way.

LOL, who could blame you? Nor me. Appreciate the candor. I am certain a lot (not all) of those thundering criticisms above did the same or less, but weren't as candid about it.

I hope Arnold or Tom wins. One of these is more likely. However, the important bit is that Davis or Busty do NOT win.

Almost as important as the above, I hope that Arnold supporters and Tom supporters put the bitterness behind them on the 8th to support the winner against the inevitable Dim lawsuits.

Best wishes to both camps tomorrow. Vote as the wisdom and intelligence loaned to you by the Lord instructs you.

(BibChr, no reply necessary, this is addressed to all and sundry).

That's how I took Tamsey as well, and you rephrased her great point very well.

Really helps to read the whole post, doesn't it?

Don't you wish everyone did?

Read further.
In the end, the point of disagreement seems to be that one person wants to limit the Parable of the Talents to ONLY things "spiritual", while Tamsey was applying it to something "entrusted" to her.

I was very impressed by Tamsey's approach.

The choice, then, seems obvious. In the name of "pragmatism," we can continue to sell our souls to partisan politics, or we can stand for the truth and put our hope in God. It seems to me the former is not taking us where we ought to go. Maybe we should try the latter.

Wow...just wow. Thanks for posting.

I rally don't have an opinion on that. My honest impression is that his "telling" Riordan was reported, like, third or fifteenth-hand. Issa himself has reported McC's promise to him.

In either case, it is not verifiable. At best (with Issa) it is one person's story against another.

Dan, this is the only response I can find to any of my responses.

You have no comment on anything else I wrote???

You can't find fault with anything else I wrote???

#216 #218 #223 #281 #299 #314 #324 #336 #341 #346

Also took a single point of my #202 and left the remainder of my arguments alone. You didn't even fully refute the point you chose, since your essay can't find fault with McClintock unless Mr. Issa's word is taken as true, which means you have a tendency towards pre-judging McClintock morally based on Issa's word alone.

Here again are the bible passages I used in my points:

Isaiah 33:15-16, TLB. "He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil--this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him."
Proverbs 1:10, TLB. "My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them."
Ephesians 4:27, TLB. "And do not give the devil a foothold."
Matthew 12:30, NIV. "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters."
Revelation 3:15-16. "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

Support Abortion , gay rights, moral bankrupt, "winning" Candidate, It's your choice; but do not try and defend him or your choice with scripture. It cannot be done.

Can you read? you are Supporting the
Abortion , gay rights, moral bankrupt, "winning" Candidate.

I said do not try and defend him or your choice with scripture. which you clearly did it the post that I replied to.

"(And no, you won't intimidate me into stopping quoting Scripture or saying what my beliefs are, no matter what insults you say to or about me or my faith.)"

You are delusional. Your level self-importance is astounding. You are trying to make yourself out to be a victim of insults and having your faith attacked? I will never even come close to responding to anything you have to offer on the Free Republic.

Oh, goody! Does this mean you won't keep repeating your insults yet again? From you, the insult about me being "delusional" is really a compliment. Thanks.

It will be one of the day's funny little oddities to go through your post, and find YOU accusing ME of emotionalism.

Other than that, you certainly did a lot of blasting away, and every shot went wide of the mark.

You "refuted" claims I never made, but didn't touch the ones I did. You read my mind time and again, and were wrong every time.

But you certainly gave full vent to your spleen, and now anyone who wishes to see what you feel, can do so.
