No one is calling for Novak's head because: (1) the press won't because he is one of them and they highly value their access to leaked information, classified or not; (2) the Republicans won't because he leaked something from a Bush source; (3) the Dems won't because (a) they want the focus to be on the Bush administration and (b) don't want to alienate the media.

I figured as much. Still wrong. We have a HUGE Fifth Column problem in this country and it is caled " The Media".
Simply disgusting.

It is my understanding that Wilson himself named his wife and her job in his autobiography awhile back. As you say, all this is just more Democrat bs. Who would kill a newspaper clipper? The scums will keep being outraged at the slightest thing hoping for an accumulative effect on Bush.

Yes, Novak should be sad down upon a hot griddle. I don't think journalists should go to jail for poor judgment and chasing headlines...if that were the case, we'd have to lose a lot of them. However I do think Novak should step forward now and finger the leaker. If he refuses to, he is knowingly putting his country and the Bush administration through a long hard damaging witch hunt for no reason...and maybe that kind of journalistic disregard for his country's welfare should be a crime.
