With regards to CNN being played in airports, those TVs are or were part of the CNN Airport Network. Some just play regular CNN, because as air travelers know, CNN Airport Network is a real piece of crap. Anyhow, I think there would be an issue changing those TVs to another station as CNN paid for them to be installed in the airports. The only way you're going to get FOX on is if you have an airport where they installed their own system, and an airport director who like FOX News.

Welcome to FR!!! I hope you've gotten the warning that this place is addictive. There is no cure, no 12-step program ...... just lots of discussion and humor and great people (with a few jerks thrown in for variety). For many of us it was such a relief to find so many other like-minded people that we felt we had finally come home.

I had a similar experience in a hospital waiting room recently. The TV was blaring CNN so loudly I was unable to read, and literally every newsbite I heard was egregiously biased leftward. I finally couldn't take it anymore and found a chair in a hall where I could sit and read in peace.

But as I left the waiting room I looked around at some two dozen people just sitting there, placidly letting those biased words wash over them, oblivious, apparently, to the way the days events were being spun by the political activists at CNN. It was one of those despair-for-humanity moments.

I use to change all the channels in the local Costco and Sams to FoxNews. After about a month of doing this, they both started setting a least one big screen TV to FoxNews!!!

I will never make hotel reservations without asking if they have FOXNews. But getting airports to give up CNN before there is a replacement? I don't think so.
