What jumped out to me was her implication that his addiction was a FACT not an allegation from a tabloid!

Dittos.

She mentioned drug rehab as part of a plea--but is he still addicted? He's already been through detox twice. Would he have to go through another rehab if his addiction problem is in the past?

"I suppose you felt that way about Clinton as well?"

X42 was elected to the highest position in the land. Traditionally, an office that demands virtue and morality. When he failed at that it took millions of dollars in taxpayer money to try and remove him from office....all becuase he lied and would not tell the truth.

Rush is a political entertainer who claims he is a "paragon of virtue and morality", but in the end is just a celebrity. We haven't yet heard his side of the story. You can turn off the radio to get rid of him.

And law enforcement authorities are in possession of a couple of tapes, and a bunch of emails, that substantiate the claims made by Wilma Cline and her husband regarding Limbaugh.

"And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up."
Rush Limbaugh

Good morning cultboy, did you defend Bill Clinton too?

Clionton was elected. Limbaugh is an elective for anyone wanting his views. There is a huge difference

I think it is time for Rush to step down and give McClintock a shot at the 12-3 time slot.

Don't shoot the wounded. Just pretend he's Johnny Cash.

God bless you, Rush. Hang in there.

Ofuscation by a public official: Bad

Ofuscation by a radio personality: Benign

But are you a listener? I think it is laughable when those that do not listen and are not fans demand that he explain himself. He owes them NOTHING. He is not a public official, people are free to listen or not, as they choose.

A couple of other points I've been wanting to make:

1) Although they indeed may cause loss of appetite, I've never heard of anyone using narcotics (opiates) to loose weight.

2) Pain management is a tricky business. We, as a society, want people to be medicated satisfactorily for pain, but we never want anyone to become addicted. If Rush started using drugs, I'm sure they were indicated and prescribed.

Touche!

That all depends on what the words "Bill Clinton" mean.

As I would do for any lady, you get the last word.

Remember, while you're babbling to me you are unable to get your well thought out ideas to the masses

Did someone elect Rush president? Was he taking advantage of a intern entrusted to his care?

I have yet to hear how someone can take, on average, 66 oxycodone pills per day for over a year. I talked to a pharmacist. He said there was NO WAY that he could even function, if he managed to survive that many drugs.

I have known people who got hooked on prescription pain killers over the years. One thing that most of them had in common was wanting to maintain their supply. Someone who is buying an average of 66 pills a day is not necessarily taking that many every day, but is likely building up a stash so that they don't have to make as many purchases. Time will tell as to whether or not any of this is true.

For years he would label anyone who called, a nut or a kook, if they believed in a conspiracy of anykind, usually one that the elite media disregarded. If this is true about Rush and there was cooperation among operatives to make deals with Rush, will he now believe in the concept of a conspiracy? He only disregards the sort of conspiracy that seeks to damage the common people. If the elite are immune, conspiracies do not exist.

I think all that wishful thinking is not very wise at this point. We need to have the courage to think that we are all capable of doing something stupid and power and money corrupt people. The proof of Rush drug addiction/usage is very clear, his hearing loss! My doctor friend has mentioned that to me before I read this article. My doctor friend does not listen to Rush, or knows that Rush had a hearing loss.

William Bennett never gambled either-heh? I do not worship or hold to high esteem ANY human. I respect and admire great people, but I know, that they are just like me, capable of making STUPID MISTAKES.

And Rush was in the fore front in justifying the WOD and deprecating those who want it ended because of the loss of our civil liberties.

That's the part the pisses me off the most, should the allegations be true.
