Posted on 10/07/2003 12:47:57 PM PDT by Paul8148

I know that Drudge and National Review online does it sometimes. Does anyone know anywhere else?

No. Internal polls might be leaked sometime this afternoon. Depending on who does the leaking, we'll have a good idea of what the exit polls say tonight.

this will be a tough election to exit poll, due to precinct consolidation.

It's my understanding that the Voter News Service, a consortium that used to provide the exit data information, was disbanded before the 2002 elections...

Are the networks still doing individual exit polls?

Exit polling:

RECALL: No - 57%, Yes - 43%

Bustamante - 33%
Schwarzenegger - 30%
McClintock - 17%

My source is my cousin's best friend's lover's mother-in-law. That's all I can say.

Probably as reliable as the LA Times.

Don't know if this means anything, but Judy Woodruff on CNN had a long face, while reporting about the recall.(appx. 12:30 Pacific Daylight Time).

That's a good sign, albeit an unscientific one. :)

If this is true, than the pre election polling numbers are once and for all, a joke.

Bah!

Davis will be retained 110%-0% and Bustamente would have won the replacement by 1,3546%. I read it at DU.

Did you happen to see Lou Dobbs questioning Judy Woodruff last night about why the LA Times did not put together a Davis investigative team? He really put the screws to her and she winced and dodged without really answering the question. I had no idea Lou Dobbs was that aggressive.
