OS ANGELES, Oct. 7 — What to wear, what to wear on election night? "Stripper shoes" with five-inch heels, or simple stilettos? A tiny denim miniskirt, or liquid latex?

"I want to look slutty," said Mary Carey, the pornography actress and one of the 135 candidates for governor, who was having her makeup done in the bathroom of her North Hollywood condominium on Tuesday afternoon while her miniature mutt, Miss Fox-E, was licking the collection of boas hanging in the living room. "I never look slutty anymore.
