To put 5 million people to work, he would have to expand the NBA to 500,000 teams. After all, in North Carolina everything is measured by basketball.

Sen. John Edwards blames President George Bush for the net loss of almost 2.7 million jobs during his tenure in the White House.

And, this citizen blames a recession that began in 2000 when the "smoke and mirror" economy of the 1990s collapsed---compounded by an attack on our homeland that was in part aimed at maulling our economy.

Go do what you were born to do, Sen. Edwards---comb your hair!

Don't worry, MKM. After the number of jobs lost in this state with textiles and tobacco, and with our 'conservative' Senator's lack of indifference for one and continuing attacks on the other, I'm sure she and Edwards will get together to provide jobs for many North Carolinians to stand on the side of the road and hand out tickets for people not wearing their seat belts. All at the cost of the taxpayer of course

A whole new industry of paying people to stand in line at the DMV for you! I'll bet someone does it for Sen. Edwards, may his hair fall out.

Unfortunately Tax-chick, if it has to do with the DMV more than likely it will be instituted by our other Senator. The one who gave us mandatory seat belt laws, the one who gave us airbags and third brake lights pushing up the price of vehicles, and of course lest we forget the one who stood against the Reagan administration's push to abolish the nationwide 55 mph speed limit. She's 'done' much much more for us (more like to us) but those are just a few of the 'wonderful' things she's done as it relates to our vehicles.

And yet there are some that would call her a conservative...

The thing I would like to know is just exactly how these Demcrats propose to magically create millions of jobs.

Raise taxes. It worked for Clinton.

Here's a good one. Similar attacks could be levelled at Kerry, Lieberman.
