Simply put, many 20 somethings women look at there 'liberated' angry, lonely, childless counterparts and don't want to like them.

The poll found the Democratic candidate had an 18-point advantage among women with more than a college education, was about even with Bush among college graduates and was nine points behind Bush among women with a high school education or less.

In other words, the rich and guilty go liberal, the hard workers and downtrodden go Republican. This stands accepted notions on their head, at least for the liberals who want people to believe otherwise.

Not exactly something the limousine liberals probably want to hear, and certainly not the conclusion the feminists will draw. It's a topsy turvy world, where the liberals claim to represent the small guy but in fact represent the people who have too much wealth and too much guilty time on their hands.

Where I fault fellow Republicans is in letting the liberals get away with pretending to represent the little guy when the opposite is the case.

It should not come as a surprise that leading among men is not a "gender gap" after all the population is 51% Female and 49% Male yet women are classed as "minorities".

Take Florida for example. Jeb Bush got 49% of the female vote and John Sununu got 46% of the female vote. Given the voter registration and voting turnout disparity between men and women (above), it is probable that each candidate got more female votes than males votes overall. Given that more women voted Republican than in the past, female votes were decisive in Jeb Bush's reelection. The same happened across the country in other races.

Detailed analysis of voting patterns since the last election (11/2002) show that Republicans did better than usual among female voters and about the same among male voters (compared to past elections). The percentage of males voting Republican remained basically constant. But the percentage of females voting Republican increased significantly. This means women voters were a decisive factor in the so-called Republican "sweep" in Congress and in governorships. There were also some Republican "sweeps" in state legislatures.

Women are decisive in all elections simply because more women than men actually vote.

Women were decisive in elections for Republicans in the last election season (11/2002) for two reasons:
1. the percent increase voting Republican was greater among women
2. more women vote.
