The Beatidudes don't seem to mention, "Blessed are the funny".
Marriage at Cana comes to mind. I'll bet He was having a bit of fun, especially with some wine involved.
And Jesus was criticized for "eating and drinking with sinners." He no doubt had a laugh or two at those dinners.
That's your problem, Irish. You think God is humorless. And you want everybody else to be humorless too.
