Uh, since you're talking about Catholic movies...My mom is always telling me I should see "Keys of the Kingdom", I think Gregory Peck is in it. Has anyone seen it?
Does 'The Boondock Saints' qualify as a Catholic movie?
I recently saw "shoes of the fisherman" and that one was very good. I loved 'the mission' and 'the black robe' - but 'the mission' was better. Incredible opening scene. I'd recommend 'the scarlett and the black' and also M. Night Shyamalan's 'Wide Awake' especially if you have kids.
This might be a good opening to a thread on good Catholic movies? I'm always looking for them but I think some of the older religious movies like 'the robe' are just too outdated, especially for kids.
Modernism was greatly influenced by the pragmatism of W.
James and in Intuitionism of H.Bergson. Or could it be
von Hugel (cleric) that you couldn't recall? Can you
recollect the general time frame to which the article
referred?
