Bwahahahaha, yeah sure.
Indeed.
Bar Abba=Son of the father. Wasn't he Jesus too? Were they one and the same? Passover privilege? By Romans?
Hmm.
Ooops, we're busted! *G*
They have a great picture of Mel sitting next to Jesus (Jim C.) in the Pretorium. A heck of a shot.
Okay, I need to get that book. I was in the midst of pre-ordering it a week or two ago, but I got distracted (and not many things distract me from anything Mel does).
They talk extensively about the shot when the cross is dropped and Jesus holds it up in mid-air. The miracle is for Mary Magdalene,so she doesn't lose hope. According to the author, it actually has roots from the writings of a seventeenth century nun, Mary of Agreda.
I did however order from TAN Books (and just received the other day), the "Mystical City of God" about Mary of Agreda's writings.
Not losing hope. Boy, now there's a message. I'll let you know how the book goes.
Maybe he was converted to James Caviezelism.
On a sad note, my uncle Joe died a few days ago, so we will once again be heading to Milwaukee for a funeral on Saturday. (We'll leave tomorrow night...)
Sigh... that time in our lives when the aunts and uncles start passing on into the next life.
I am so thankful that they all were so devout in their faith.
And get Inside The Passion. You won't regret it. So much great insight.
He talks about the first time Jim Caveziel stepped out of his trailer with the make up of the scourging... There was an audible gasp from those on the set. Some just backed away completely.
Wow!
Mel has a great forward to the book, and also collaborated with Father John in the writing of the book.
The book is put out by Asension Press, but you should be able to find it.
They were right in front of the store when I walked in, next to other items from The Passion.
Have a great night, and good luck finding it.
May he rest in peace.
May he rest in peace.
Thanks... just got back.
I'll tell you more about it later when I have some time.
Barabbas. The prisoner released in exchange for Jesus.
Barnabas, son of encouragement, wasn't on the biblical scene until after St. Paul's converstion.
