Based on prejudiced hear say evidence...
Assuming Terri's enjoying the beginning of eternity in heaven, I don't have to wonder if she'd rather still be in hospice care.
Taken to it's logical conclusion, this type of thought could be used to justify all sorts of nasty things since those that would die are surely better off in heaven...
Pro-life bump.
... from the lips of the man with whom she willingly joined in holy matrimony.
Taken to it's logical conclusion, this type of thought could be used to justify all sorts of nasty things since those that would die are surely better off in heaven...
Then, by all means, resist the urge to take it to its "logical conclusion."
You're really reaching. Especially where I wasn't responding to someone's (e.g. your) unprovoked p*ssing-on, my posts have been pleasant, and I didn't have any intent of counting my posts.
But, go ahead, laugh to your bleeding heart's content. It's just more emotion, and one look at your profile and posting history reveals emotion is what turns your world. You flat out refuse to be either civil or reasonable with anyone who doesn't emote along with you. That was obvious from YOUR first post to me.
What happened to Terri must never be allowed to happen again. Period! I agree with you.
A mistake she paid for with her life.
Then, by all means, resist the urge to take it to its "logical conclusion."
That would make me a liberal.
No, it would keep you from looking like one. It's just like how a liberal sees a handgun and decides it must be confiscated to make sure it doesn't kill someone.
Hardly, but since you can't, or are unwilling to pursue your own argument to its logical conclusion, I shouldn't expect you to see the apples to oranges comparisons you are now making. The many contortion must a self described Christian must make in justifying Terrie's death with their own theology is sad and darkly fascinating.
Looks like you got the FOT's mad at you. Oops.
Your error is in thinking (or, insisting) that I was using that thought to justify her death.
Your "logical conclusion" does not apply.
Assuming Terri's enjoying the beginning of eternity in heaven, I don't have to wonder if she'd rather still be in hospice care.
This isn't a justifying line of thought?
No, this is just pointing out a benefit of her having gone through her ordeal. I'm guessing she's pleased as can be. Only a fool would try to use heaven as a means to justify murdering a born-again Christian. (Not that this was murder, mind you.)
You are either pro life or pro abortion. There is no debate on the debacle that was the Florida court system.
No use stating that, "Yes, there is a culture of death. I just don't see it in this case." That statement and your characterization of your parents and Christians leaves much to be desired in trying offer defense to an abomination.
DITTO! Just needed to be said again - my thoughts exactly.
As I have stated numerous times in the past, I hope the fact that I have signed a Health Care Power of Attorney -- giving my wife complete authority to speak on my behalf when I am unable to speak for myself
"I" ....
"I" ....
"I" ....
"I" ....
"myself".......
Get over yourself - this isn't about you.
AMEN!
Your responses are so right on!!
Thanks!
No, this is just pointing out a benefit of her having gone through her ordeal. I'm guessing she's pleased as can be
Not that this was murder, mind you.)
'a benefit' - that benefit comes when God says it's time.....NOT anyone else.....I know God isn't pleased. MIND YOU, it was murder!
Perhaps you didn't notice in your alleged 6+ years of lurking that much of what happens on this site is the discussion of personal opinions. And that often, in the course of doing so, people wish to know what's behind another's opinion, on what the opinion is based and/or what the poster has done as a result of having that opinion.
Now, if you refuse to accept that and continue to have your selfish "get over yourself" mentality, consider that you might be just another emotion-driven FReeper who is wholly unable to conduct a civil or reasoned discussion with anyone who doesn't emote right along with you.
Since God is able to create everything from nothing,
and God is able to bend time and space,
and God is able to sustain life,
and God is able to raise the dead,
and God is able to heal the sick,
and God is able to shape human will,
it would appear God said it's time.
