In Rome in 2007 a moment of multireligious prayer will be organized called "Pax homininibus orbis in paci". 300 million dollars will be donated by American, Jewish, Chinese and Arabic foundations to carry out these initiatives. Well the Templars in Spain and Portugal continued but they changed their name and or merged with other knightly orders - so where did these modern "Templars" come from?

Templars were basically monks who fought...or knights who chose to live like monks...not supermen.
I thought they were like the modern Knights of Malta/St.John in the "buy a noble title" sense.
