Orthodoxy has no interest in becoming "Uniates".

Again that use of the term "uniates" - A derogatory term for an Eastern Church in communion with Rome.

What about the 'formula' condemned and rejected?

Here is paragraph 12 of the Balamand Agreement:

"12) Because of the way in which Catholics and Orthodox once again consider each other in relationship to the mystery of the Church and discover each other once again as Sister Churches, this form of "missionary apostolate" described above, and which has been called "uniatism", can no longer be accepted either as a method to be followed nor as a model of the unity our Churches are seeking."

As for the use of the term "uniate", I know that some of the Eastern Rite Churches in communion with Rome object to that term, but there is no condemnation of it in the Agreement and frankly, it does describe that group of Churches quite well, especially if their adhereants continue to believe that they are some sort of model for future union with Orthodoxy.
