An alternative to American Girl Dolls
What a privilege to be the father of three precious daughters and husband to the greatest wife in the world. My constant prayer is that the Lord will continue to affirm them as women of God. This same prayer is the heart of our mission at Vision Forum. Since our founding in 1998, Vision Forum has been committed to the restoration of the Christian family. Our book catalog, our All-American Boys Adventure Catalog, and the Beautiful Girlhood Collection are all designed to tackle different aspects of the cultural battle for the family.
We aspire, by the grace of God, to encourage the rebuilding of a culture of virtuous womanhood. In a world that frowns on femininity, that minimizes motherhood, and that belittles the beauty of being a true woman of God, we dare to believe that the biblical vision for girlhood is a glorious vision. It is, in fact, a beautiful vision. It is a vision for purity and contentment, for faith and fortitude, for enthusiasm and industry, for heritage and home, and for joy and friendship. It is a vision so bright and so wonderful that it must be boldly proclaimed. We are here to proclaim it. Amid a culture brimming with mixed messages, shallow and self-serving ideals, and depraved role-models, may you and your precious daughters find the following pages to be a refreshing and edifying oasis of innocence. Girlhood is a very brief season in the life of a young lady. Nurture it, protect it, and by Gods grace, fill it with the principles and tools needed to make it truly beautiful.

I still encourage everyone to call American Girl Dolls andvoice your objection to their support of a pro-abortion organization aimed at young girls:
It takes two minutes. Just do pick up the phone and do it.
I have called and sent several E-mails. So have all my relatives that have invested in this doll for their young daughters.
The person answering the phone at American Girl said they were getting a lot of angry phone calls regarding their support of Girls Inc. Hope the pressures on!
I am quite sure that pro-life families buy a lot more dolls for their daughters than do femi-nazi wymen who most likely see girly dolls as inappropriate toys for their young femi-nazis-to-be.
I think we should be able to win this one - - if folks continue to speak up as you and your friends have.
I am a Pro Life woman and I don't honor anything that is for Gays and Lesbian and Abortion. However, I am an proud collector of American Girl Collection. What I mean by Proud Collector is that I like the Originals that has Kit, Molly, Kaya, Kirsten, Samatha, Nellie, Josephina and More. This is American History of Girls. However, There are some Items that I don't approve of and I would not get them. I did however, look at the Christian Alternatives and I seen the prices of books. When you go to Boarders books or a bookstore and price American Girl Collection. You will see it's only between 5 -10 bucks each. However, I priced the books for the Christian ones they are 16 bucks. When I have my own children and girls. They will still have American Girl collection and also other Christian ones. Plus, I believe a parent should teach thier children whats right and wrong. I believe that you should let them have thier childhood and stop moving to boycott something that you don't have a control over it. I don't really see anything of boycotting just because of a 1.00 dollar each braclet. Plus, Gays and Lesbians are American's also. God loves the Sinner and hates the sin.
