It ssems Kmart is following in the same Anti Christmas footsteps as Walmart. Today I went into Kmart to buy a few odds and ends. Well I happened to walk pass their Christmas Trees for sale. Well they weren't called Christmas Trees. They were called "Mountain Trees". Yes you heard right. Some were also called "Snow Trees" because, they were white in color. Anyways I went on to www.kmart.com to check there as well, and the trees are called "Mountain and Snow" Trees as well. So it seems that the Anti Christmas Express is moving right along. Shame on Kmart.

None of the losers have a hard time taking the money that say "In God We Trust".
If you are looking to be offended...
It's interesting that on their website they can't bear to call them Christmas trees, but right under the description it says, "Need it by Christmas? See our Holiday shipping dates." Why would I need it by Christmas? It's just a Mountain Tree!
What's "anti-Christmas" about Wal*Mart? Ours here has Christmas trees as does their website.
Good news. I've been noticing a few occurances of "Christmas" slipping into TV advertisements. True Value had an ad that mentioned Christmas. Just today, Macy's had a long ad with folks in green and red with snow and stuff, singing about "the man with the bag," and said "Christmas is here" at the end.
Of course, such ads would have had Christians decrying "the commericialization of Christmas" about 20 years ago, but, hey!
Try "Wishing Trees"!

I will not shop in any of these stores anymore!
K-Mart is creating subcategories of "Christmas Trees." "Mountain Trees" and "Snow Trees" are two types of "Christmas Trees" at K-Mart. There's also "Fiber Optic", "Winter Point" and "Pine."
They DO call them Christmas Trees on their web site.
If you want a "Christmas" tree then you will have to purchase it elsewhere.
However, a law suit has been placed to remove "In God We Trust" from all monies by an atheist advocate.
I have determined to spend none of my CHRISTMAS money in stores that dishonor Christmas, Christ and Christians. My gifts will be purchased in more traditional places where Christ is still welcome.
Oh, the irony...
Not sure where you got the information about WalMart. I just checked their online catalog. I got 7965 hits on the word "christmas" - including Christmas trees.
Only got 67 hits on the KMart site
The Best Buy near me had a nice Menorah and Star of David decal on the wall but a Christmas tree with lights decal underneath it.
I think I would ask someone for their Christmas trees. When they directed me to the "mountain" trees, I would say "no, I said CHRISTMAS trees. These clearly say MOUNTAIN trees. I guess you don't have any. Maybe Wal-Mart does."
See if that gets their attention.

(that's more like it)
Jeremiah 10
God and Idols
1 Hear what the LORD says to you, O house of Israel. 2 This is what the LORD says:
"Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
4 They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. 5 Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good."
6 No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. 7 Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.
8 They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.

And besides, everyone knows that shepherds dont watch over their flocks by night DURING WINTER! And if your pastor hasnt learned that Yeshua was born during Tabernacles (late summer, shepherds in the fields, pilgrimage Festival no room at the inn, etc.), then back up the Hebrew calendar 9 months, you hit Chanukah (A great miracle happened here / the conception) then at least he learned how to pick your pocket.
Jonah 2 7 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple.
8 Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy.
9 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Happy Chanukah!
