Ten bucks says that our local (Long Island) broadcast will not include this program; at least not before 3:00am.

Instead, I bet they'll play another episode of "Our Muslim Neighbors" or some such.

Rockville Centre HATES just about anything that smacks of Tradition.

Regards,

Not on here on the West coast at the appointed hour. Is it on anywhere else?

I doubt it...if your local diocese wants to show local programming, they simply pre-empt the national broadcast.

I might try to catch it or tape it if it ever comes on.

Regards and Happy New Year,

Appreciate the response, but I checked the EWTN website scheduling and found that it was to be on:

http://www.ewtn.com/tv/DOMgrid4.asp

EWTN GLOBAL SHOWCASE
PRIESTLY FRATERNITY OF ST. PETER (60:00)
A beautiful story about a new seminary in Germany dedicated to the Catholic Tradition, Christ's Vicar and the Magisterium of the Church.
Saturday December 31, 2005 8:00 PM
Sunday January 1, 2006 2:00 AM
Thursday January 5, 2006 1:00 PM

Then checked another scheduling page on EWTN and Jesus of Nazareth is to be on and it is.

Confounding....

Sometimes, what happens is that the local diocese (in my case, it is Rockville Centre) has an arrangement with the (national) EWTN to share channel space. Here on Long Island the local station is known as "Telecare" and both of them play on channel 29.

Sometimes they broadcast whatever the national EWTN is showing, but many times they pre-empt it to broadcast their own local shows. It is rare indeed for Telecare to broadcast shows like this one about the FSSP. But boy do they love "Our Muslim Neighbors," and that show with the singing charismatic priest and his sister...

Anyway, I hope you get to watch it. Heck...I hope I get to watch it, too.

Regards,

Confounding....

Yeah, my cable box menu showed "Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter", but the show on Jesus of Nazareth was playing. Sigh.

I've sent a message to EWTN to ask about this, and when/if it will air and will let everyone know the response. Until then, if anyone hears anything please post it.
Happy New Year, 2006 AD!

Ditto... TiVO header said Fraternal Society of St. Peter and the show had nothing to do with it... dunno.

No reply as of yet from EWTN on what happened, or if this program is either delayed or cancelled. It would be nice to know and to the benefit of ETWN to have this information...

I don't know what happened either but it's now on their "specials" schedule. I'd like to see it.

Thanks. & a ping forward.
The date/times (EST) you show are also now listed in the Feb 2006 Highlights monthly mailing just received from EWTN.
It will be one of their Catholic Compass presentations.
