Jack's fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's." To further denigrate Christianity, NBC chose to air it the night before Good Friday.

I suppose we should boycott the entire Trinity Broadcasting Network as it sounds less tacky and disrespectful than half the stuff on there..

Remember, mockery is to the left as logical argument is to the right. It is the core of the leftist method, since mockery is what unintelligent people use when they want to seem intelligent.

It's much easier to make jokes about the crucifixion than it is to contemplate the implications of the crucifixion, let alone articulate those implications to another person.

Who cares. If you don't want to watch the show (which you have probably never watched in the first place), then turn the channel. We need to loosen up a bit otherwise we're no better than the freak'in towel heads who want to destroy the western work because some newspaper printed a characture of Mohommad.

Not too long ago in American history the name of the show itslef would have been highly inflammatory as a deliberate insult to Christians, i.e., the theological argument over whether man is saved by exercise of his free will or by the grace of God.

That is lost on most today, but I dare is was not lost on those who chose the name for a show making light of homosexual promiscuity.

NBC can't get enough of our backsides. They should have a talk with most of the local daily papers and discuss why they are having to deal with a shrinking circulation.

I couldn't agree more. T.V.s have an off button. Turn it off and stop demanding that everyone conform to your rules. If the networks lose you as part of the audience, their profits will dwindle and they will cater to you again.

But every time you guys get rattled and whine like a bunch of pansy liberals who were forced to hear the word 'Jesus', you merely give free publicity to who/whatever it is you're trying to get cancelled.

Next, their shows are seen as 'important political statements that test the boundaries of society under censorship' rather than people whoring themselves out for a laugh. As a result, you're martyring these idiots instead of decreasing demand for their drivel.

There's nothing wrong with moral outrage. It worked on the Mapes, Rather and Kerry crap. Keep in mind too that what one generation condones, the next practices.

otherwise we're no better than the freak'in towel heads who want to destroy the western work because some newspaper printed a characture of Mohommad.

Sorry. You're off base. We protest with our pocketbooks. They take to the streets with violence. The two do not compare. They aren't talking boycotts.

Can you imagine the reaction if they had a movie on the Muslim allah being gay or involved with gay guys?

Hell, they'd probably march into NBC in black outfits with machettis and execute them all. Look at their reaction to a comic strip. Godless liberal pick on homosexuality around a Holy Week for Christians. Deep down perhaps even they know He is the real One so leave the other frauds alone - there are enough fools following their ridiculous beliefs. Thinking of the Muslim allah, they should have a show on some terrorist dying and going to hell where they all belong instead of some poronographic paradise.

Neither was Kerry, Mapes or Rather. We were still morally outraged.

My Websters says: moral/ adj/ 1: of or relating to principles of right and wrong.

Nothing to do with religion.

NBC is a private company...don't like what they sell?

Don't buy it.

We did not crucify Rather and Mapes, and Kerry is still in the Senate.

What a shame that you don't have a valid retort.

We did not crucify Rather and Mapes

Who said they were?

and Kerry is still in the Senate.

And he is NOT the Pres.

NBC is a private company...don't like what they sell?

Don't buy it.

Which is EXACTLY the point of this thread.

"NBC is a private company...don't like what they sell?

Can you imagine what would happen to me if I had a show on how homos are frauds. That no one is born that way. Next had a parade of STRAIGHT, FORMER homosexuals on giving their testimony on what the root problem was.

Heck, O'REilly for one would shriek. He's a homo sympathizer except when they molest kids ooops he doesn't acknowledge that.

The a point is the left is free to do what it pleases. The right has NO rights - even if they're telling the truth. Now imagine what would muslims do if we portrayed Mohammad as the bisexual child molester gigolo that he was? Heck they'd behead us all. As true as it is, people don't do it. SO I don't see why Christians have to tolerate this filth. You see it's open season on Christianity. There is no room for tolerance or agreeing to disagree. The name of their game is blasphemy.

There is a big difference between protesting the fictional stories on what is supposed to be a non-fictional news program and protesting the story line of a fictional situation comedy that is about to go off the air for good. By acting out, you are drawing attention to the very show that you want people not to watch.

That's correct. Christians don't have the right to do that. We may not like them but we don't conjure about trash about their families and make a movie out of it during a holiday they hold dear to their hearts.
