In these past ten years, two commissions have worked on the Rite – the Commission of Cardinals who edited the Prenotanda, or the initial dispositions, and the Commission in charge of the prayers. I can say with certainty that no member of either commission has ever performed an exorcism or witnessed one. No member has even the faintest idea of what an exorcism is.

That sounds very very odd. If that's true, the situation in the Church is pretty bad.

Great read. Satan and sin and hell are real. I know because when I want to do the right thing and it would be so much better for me, I choose to do something else. I hurt myself, rather than do the better thing that would help my children, wife or myself. Man do I need the sacraments and Christ's beautiful grace! I thank Fr. Amorth and his experience and expression of the truth.
