It doesn't matter what you or I think. It doesn't relieve us of the obligation of obedience to the local bishop.

You have no idea what God is going to bring out of this. We can opine on injustice all day, but Peter also thought it was pretty unjust that Jesus go to the cross and tried to stop him. Jesus was obedient to the Father, as unjust as it seemed to Peter. We need to be as obedient to the bishop. If we can't be obedient to the bishop, we can't be obedient to God, because God ordained Bishop Flynn, not you or me.

I think we're all emotionally upset at what has occured, but God is bigger than Bishop Flynn, and if He so wills it, something much greater will come of this - even if it's found in the hidden work of saving perishing souls in the middle of nowhere.

That's true. But, you are probably unaware that Archbishop Flynn has been promoting "Gay Friendly" Agenda in the Archdiocese of Minneapolis for a number of years.

He has not silenced Ultra Liberal Priests from Gay Friendly Parishes like Saint Joan of Arc but yet goes after a Holy and Conservative Priest such as Father Altier.

Isn't there a Double Standard at play here ?

I definitely do think there is a Double Standard here.

The Vatican has turned a blind eye to his activities for a number of years. The only Cardinal with some guts in him, was Cardinal Francis Arinze who chastized Flynn regarding his distribution of Holy Communion to "Rainbow Sashers" at the Cathedral of Saint Paul some years back.

He called on him to stop it. But, do you think this Archbishop was paying any attention to Cardinal Arinze.

Obviously not. I would also like to ask you a question.

Do you think, Faithful Catholics should be obedient to an Archbishop such as Flynn who is promoting all kinds of Immoral Stuff or at least endorsing it in the Catholic School System in the United States.

I believe in total obedience to the MAGISTERIUM, but not to Ultra-Liberal Archbishops who are endangering the Faith of the Faithful.

There is grave injustice at play here. I doubt it is a question of being "emotionally upset".

When a Priest such as Father Altier who has brought Souls to Jesus Christ is silenced and later banished -- what should a Conservative and Staunch Catholic such as myself and others think ?

I pray for the Excommunication of Ultra-Liberal Archbishops like Flynn, Mahoney etc. asap.

You have to remember that if it was not for Cardinal Law's antics in Boston-- the Catholic Church would have never had such a mess on their hands as it had to deal with in 2002 and even now in 2006.
