And you don't believe that? When was the last time you watched the movies? The lines of an allegory are not that hard to define.
Star Wars touches the senses of Christianity - there is no clearly Jesus like savior (in the first 6), but there are the morals, heroes, values, and struggles that Christians must face every day. Perhaps on a grater scale, but the Christianity is definitely there.

Hey Now! what's with the stereotype? I'm not 300 lbs, pasty faced, or any of those other things that you would suppose someone who showed up in costume to the midnight showing with the Star Wars Fan Club looks like.
Granted, this thread is about the people that claim Jedi as their faith, and why can't yall look at them as any other sad people, struggling to find meaning in the world. Granted, they're looking in the wrong places, but so do most of us, from time to time. Pray for them, you must.

Hmmm... I'd've thought that the revelation in Phantom Menace that the Jedi were CELEBATE might have put a damper on things...
