Folks, I've been doing some research for some future articles and decided to create an apologetical "knowledge base" of doctrinal resources defending the traditional Catholic and Orthodox stance of restricting the ministerial priesthood to males. I make it available to you below and also at Vivificat's "Favorite Sites" section:
The Holy See has been responding (in the negative) to the demands of the radical feminists at least as far back as the papacy of Paul VI.
Women have a special role in the Church. I don't understand why any would want to trade that for priesthood.

imo - some of the first to call them heretics are those that allow them to teach thier kids in Sunday school and become missionaries (teachers) to other locales
Regarding the Catholic Church, the Vatican has said it over and over; the Church does not have the authority to ordain women to the priesthood.
"Rome has spoken. The case is closed."
