NEW ITALIAN CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO DESIGNED AS FREEMASONIC TEMPLE
Chiesa Viva authored by Dr. Engineer Franco Addessa ^ | March 2006 | D. M. S.

Posted on 07/19/2006 10:40:38 AM PDT by Youngstown

IS THE NEW CATHEDRAL TO PADRE PIO IN SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO ACTUALLY A "MASONIC TEMPLE"?

I have just received and am in the process of studying a special issue, #381 (March 2006), of the Italian religious magazine “CHIESA VIVA”. It is my understanding that in March 2006 this special issue was sent by the publisher/editor of “Chiesa Viva”, Dr. Monsignor Luigi Villa, to Catholic & 'catholic' priests, Bishops, Cardinals, as well as a selected group of Italian lay persons including members of the judiciary. This entire special issue deals with only one subject, that being the inauguration in July 2004 (construction began in 1996) of the new Cathedral dedicated to Padre Pio of San Giovanni Rotondo. The authors allege that after years of study they are now able to prove that this new church is in fact, NOT a Catholic Church, but rather a “Masonic temple”!

The authors (the engineer Franco Adessa) further allege that they have analyzed the complete church structure including the entry doors to the church, the altar plus the cross that hovers over it, the chapel of Adoration with the Tabernacle made out of jet black stone with the 13 plaques of silver as well as the immense stone cross that towers 40 meters over the piazza.

The authors allege that Masonic symbols are apparent everywhere. The authors allege that their special issue of Chiesa Viva has put into focus an alleged Masonic plan to DO battle with God by attempting to destroy the Catholic Church with Masonic Ecumenism. According to the authors the most devastating aspect of this blasphemy is the direct insult to the Holy Trinity and Our Lord Jesus Christ that have been symbolically displaced from the Cross and the Tabernacle and replaced by the blasphemous “Masonic triple trinity” and of Lucifer in person.

The authors allege that this story is one of money, power and control that go to the very top. To date news services around the world seem to be totally unaware of what has allegedly transpired in San Giovanni Rotondo, not one word has been uttered by the Vatican or other officials and millions of devotees to Saint Padre Pio are unaware and would be outraged if they ever suspected that their donations (estimated to be over $250,000,000.00 US) had been used to allegedly defame their beloved Saint!

If these allegations are in fact verified the scandal could be enormous. Millions of Catholics devoted to Padre Pio would be shocked and angry. The scandal would involve huge sums of money, the defamation of a Sainted Priest loved world wide by millions, the undermining of Faith, the undermining of the Catholic Hierarchy. It seems that officially no one in the Vatican is talking about this alleged scandal, even though a special reunion took place in San Giovanni Rotondo, on May 1 through May 6, 2006 attended by 150 Vatican experts including the Secretary of State Sodano. Ostensibly these experts converged on San Giovanni Rotondo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the hospital (Casa di Sollievo della Sofferenza) by Padre Pio. Their meetings were open to the public during the day, however, their closed door evening meetings were allegedly dedicated to high level discussions of the Chiesa Viva special issue #381.It was subsequently reported, confidentially, that the Vatican has adopted an official solution that essentially amounts to total silence on this matter! If this is true then the allegations of Chiesa Viva may be much more than allegations and silence on the part of the Vatican is tantamount to conceding victory to Chiesa Viva. How long can this story be kept under wraps before the devotees of Padre Pio find out that they and their saint have been betrayed!?

I think the black marble tabernacle resembles the enigmatic monolith from the movie.

Freemasonry's denial that there is one true religion and promotion of religious indifferentism flies in the face of the
Catholic Church's teachings.

I attended a Masonic ceremony before that was stated very explicitly. The Masons founded the Jacobin movement that triggered the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution. These so-called tolerant Freemasons were responsible for an ancestor's beheading during the French Revolution on account he was a Catholic bishop and a nobleman in 1794.

From the Catholic Encyclopedia:
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/09771a.htm
http://www.atheists.org/Atheism/roots/enlightenment/

They were also chiefly behind the Mexican government's persecution of the Catholic Church during the 1910s and 1920s.

For a Catholic to support Freemasonry in any way is a bit like a Jew to support the Nazis.

This March 2006 special edition of Chiesa Viva has been sent to the following traditional and conservative Catholic publications and amazingly they are afraid to reprint the story.

Ya don't think the Masons have gotten to them too, do ya?

Yikes........this is scary!!!!!

Email this directly to Msgr. Ganswein at the Vatican and he'll go directly to Pope Benedict. Do not send this to Levada at the CDF. If you do, make sure you leave town immediately or at the very least change the locks on your home. He can't be trusted.

In the meantime, take a look at this!!!! After you've done so, immediately change your FR tag. Not too many of us know about this and those who do are being tracked by the powers of evil.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Couldn't agree more.

Wow! You have some interesting family history there. That's sad about your ancestor, but yes, these things did happen and many refuse to acknowledge it today.

Ya know what is scary? It also resembles the stone at Mecca if you stretch it out.

Oh dear, this is getting tiresome and more than a little ridiculous; to say the least.

First of all, Freemasonry is NOT a religion, a religious organization, and therefore, has ALWAYS been tolerant of people who are of different religious beliefs. Of course they deny that there is one and only only one "true religion" and HOOOOOOOOOORAY for them, for that!

If your ancestor personally met Madame Guillotine, it was because he was an aristo...NOT because he was a Catholic Bishop and the Masons had NOTHING at all to do with that; unless you want to blame ALL Masons for Guillotine's invention, since he was a Mason. He was also a Catholic, BTW.

It would really help you, if you actually knew and understood factual history, before you posted. First of all, There was a JACOBITE movement, in England, which had to do with the Revolution of 1688. most Jacobite were ROMAN CATHOLIC! Though some were indeed Masons, they had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the French Revolution! The Jacobites wanted to restore the Stuart Monarchy to the English throne. And FYI...The Jacobite Movement was added and abetted by the Vatican and Jesuits, who the last time I looked, were part of the Catholic church.

It was these Jacobite Masons, who fled to Holland, which actually began the anti-Masonic junk, because the Dutch were troubled by them and that they were meeting to thrown a spanner in the works, with the Duke of Orange, who was then sitting on the throne of England. This then led to what I'll call "uneasiness" within the realms of some of the crowned heads of Europe and the Catholic church.

Just as there are good and bad apples in every race, religion, ethnicity, and social groups, you shouldn't blame an entire group for a few bad apples. Have there been "bad" , IRREGULAR ( which means Masons in name only and even that, not legit! )"Masonic groups"? Yes, there have been and that is exactly what was the genesis of the first Papal Bull, written by Pope Clement XIX, in 1738 based on Cardinal Corisini's input. OTOH, the original Bull WAS probably written against one or two Italian Masosnic groups. It is still questionable that it was meant for all of Freemasonry.

And to prove this point, I offer you the words of Cardinal Corisini, whose letter to the Grand Duke of Tuscany said that "Freemasonry had begun in England as an amusement or decent diversion but...has degenerated in Italy, and has become a school of ungodliness." He was BTW, referring to their habits OUTSIDE of Masonry.

Yet, it was and apparently still is, for some, the fact that Freemasonry has always espoused freedom of association, tolerance, and free speech, that drove the RCC to distraction. You just can't have any of THAT, now can we. LOL

After escaping to England, from France, a French priest, Abbe Barruel was the first, in a landslide of books and pamphlets for and against the proposition that the French Revolution was started by Masons. John Robinson was another pamphleteer, who stated that this was true. Reynold's Wrap hadn't been invented yet, but both of these men were wrapped, mummy-like, in it! Diederot had been a Mason, but Marat, Danton, and Robespierre weren't and nothing any of these men did, has anything to do with Freemasonry.

No serious historian believes that Mason started and carried out the French Revolution; not a one! This is as nutty and spurious as any Stone conspiracy movies and the blasted PORTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION!

Your last sentence is false, disgusting, vile, libelous, and beneath contempt! You owe every single Mason, living and dead, and every member of their extended families, a public apology.

Gee dixie, I guess you were right...that history lesson had to be rewritten. :-)

And some of you live in another, tinfoil covered, universe.

You should leave FR right now....FR does NOT, in any way, shape, manner, or form, claim that there is but one "true" religion. Run away......run away.......................run from here as fast as you can. :-)

Exactly so and that poster owes ALL Masons, living and dead and all of their extended families a PUBLIC apology! He probably should denounce his American citizenship ( if he is an American ), because this nation was founded by a whole lot of Masons, who also enriched this nation, for centuries. Oh yes, and he should immediately stop using American money, because Masonic symbology abounds on it.

You are seriously incorrect, but as you are also obviously a zealot, to expect a rational discussion with you would be a bridge to far.

You have my pity.

It's grounds for excommunication (as Bishop Fabian Bruskiewicz of Lincoln, Neb. did to his flock) since it goes against canon law in regards to secret societies. There have been encyclicals written about the ills of freemasonry.
