If the drawers are small enough, the technique referred to earlier about using routers to build them is very effective and easy.

As the drawers grow larger in scale, it becomes necessary to use thinner pieces, and more hardware, such as drawer slides.

Most C&W songs tell a story. There was even one about the "Perfect Country And Western Song" which had roses, a kid with a dog, a truck driver, a lost love, drowning the sorrows and leaving mama. I only heard it once, so I don't even know if I have the right sequence of events. It was pretty funny, anyway. Maybe being in prison for killing a man was in there too. I dunno...

Well, a friend of mine named Steve Goodman wrote that song
and he told me it was the perfect country and western song
I wrote him back a letter and told him it was NOT the perfect
country and western song because he hadn't said anything about
Momma, or trains, or trucks, or prison, or gettin' drunk.
Well, he sat down and wrote another verse to the song and he sent
it to me and after reading it, I realized that my friend had written
the perfect country and western song. And I felt obliged to include it
on this album. The last verse goes like this here:
