Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the Episcopal Church allow gay priests?
Probably not so rampant in Texas though...
Not only do they "allow" gay priests, they are also performing gay "nuptials," according to some of my friends who have switched to Anglicans, so your assumption of whether or not they might "allow" gay Scout leaders is "they won't ask or tell."
