Stallone will be black-balled from Hollywood for supporting Christian values --- such heresy!!!
Our local film critic reviewed the movie and said it was the best of the Rocky films, better than the first, and could be a stand alone film, because the message was so compelling.
I look so forward to seeing this movie.
Watched this little video on what people are saying..

Good for Stallone!
Careful, Sylvester, Hollywood is sensitive about Jesus. You'll be in the same boat as Mel is you don't give the idea that Christ was a free swinging, socialist liberator..
This will be one movie I want to see....It is wonderful to hear that he has turned his life to the Lord.
All the *Action Heroes* we know like Stallone,Chuck Norris,
Schwarznegger and Mel Gibson have professed thier faith in GOD and Jesus which must freak Hollywood out since they have had no ACTION HEROES since these guys went into semi-retirement.
ping. I've never seen any of the Rocky movies, so I'm putting them on our queue so we can maybe get up to speed before this is out of the theaters.
I'm looking forward to seeing it. Good for us!
The Trailer looks awesome!
Just watch Rocky I and II, you can skip 3 through 5.
Actually Rocky III (with Mr. T) was pretty good, too. But definately skip 4 and 5.
Hope everybody had a chance to hear Rush's interview with Stallone last week. It was great, and Rush gave the movie a rave.
That would be the ultimate, wouldn't it? Rocky would punch his lights out.
....."Eight......Nine........Ten.....!!! It's over!!! Rocky Baaaaal-boooo-aaaa has done it!! The new heavyweight champion of the universe!!!"
Great interview. I get Rush's show downloaded onto my computer every day. bttt
I hate to sound cynical but first Will Smith and now Sylvester Stallone talking about values and Jesus? Perhaps Hollywood has finally seen the purpose-driven "light" and the sacred evangelical cash cow. While it's great to see family value movies, it'll take more than one movie to convince me of a change in walk.
Okay, though from the posts after yours, it looks like some of them aren't worth seeing.
Thanks for the warning. I'll leave them in the queue, but won't expect much. I really love Netflix, if I don't like a movie I can turn it off without feeling like I've wasted money on a rental. Plus I can leave a suitable review so the next person will be warned.
And just remember Eddie Murphy's advice, don't try to pick a fight with an Italian after they've seen Rocky. "Way to go Rock-O!" :)
