Now that I have children, I strongly believe that I would be failing them spiritually if I didn't taken them to the parish that shows the upmost respect for the Eucharist, the necessity of confession and has children coming out its ears. You are absolutely right! You lay the foundation of faith during those formative years. Even if, like my daughter, they step away from the faith as they grow older, the seeds planted back then begin to grow, once children come into our lives.

Drat, all these years and I've been going to wrong church! Actually, I prefer the "good old days" and the Latin Mass myself.

The only Sacrament I have not yet received is Anointing of the Sick. That shouldn't make a difference, should it? You have received Holy Orders? Are you a deacon?
