I’ll say it’s a job. I no longer expect my husband to make me happy or to give me any real companionship. I don’t share my deepest feelings with him. We’re mates but not soul mates. We’ve been married for almost 26 years and we have 6 children. We’ll never get divorced but our marriage hasn’t turned out the way that I thought it would.
I feel that way sometimes. (18 years, 8 children) Life can be very wearing.
That is wonderful! God Bless you all for long, healthy and happy marriages!
There were some bumps in the road, but the last seven years of our married life together were the happiest of all.
