You are really stretching it...As you know, these words have more than one meaning generally...
And it may be true that they both contain the meaning of 'thanks', the verse in Hebrews separtates the two...
The thanksgiving sacrifice in Leviticus UNDER THE LAW is what you stated...
Lev 7:11 And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
However, as I pointed out, while the praise offering in Hebrews can be a thanks offering, it is a worship/praise offering performed with the lips...
Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
You are wresting and torturing the scripture to try to prove that the offering in Hebrews is connected to your mass when it is not...
