You know, this could be turned into a great fund-raiser for the Church--get these old documents under copyright, illustrate and illumine them, then use that stupid "Da Vinci Code" publicity to engine the sales.

I could never "get" those books, and why they gained such a hold over people's minds. Accusations of blasphemy aside, I just thought they were dull, plodding, and obvious. There wasn't a suspenseful moment in DVCode, just ignorance about art and scripture coating a shallow plot.

The book is a few thousand dollars a copy. They’re not going to sell many copies no matter what.

The vast majority of people who bought those books are gullible neophytes who are ignorant of history and are sponges for anything that attacks the Church. Same with the LaHaye/Jenkins Left Behind garbage.
