Watch this. It is long and if you have time you should listen and understand what this Emergent/Purpose Driven movement is all about.

I've only watched about 35 minutes of it so far, but it's very good. The speaker makes a lot of sense. He articulates (with scriptural references) much of what I feel when I hear what Warren teaches. The whole "felt needs" and "seeker sensitive" movement is appalling.

THANK YOU for posting that video.

After watching the entire thing I was most distressed that so many respected Christian leaders have bought into this heresy/apostasy. Even the church I have been attending, has had years of 'Purpose Driven' programming, and all the other emerging church propaganda, thrown at the congregation... the most recent one being... the Church Doctor.... I always felt a bit quesy while the next '70 days of Whatever' was being brought forth for the congregation's consumption. This presentation clarified why I had those quesy feelings... That much of the ideology and implementation of 'Purpose Driven' was derived from such secular/humanistic management/psychological sources.

But most shocking to me, in this video was Billy Graham's statement, in the segment in his interview with David Frost, "that Christians have more in common with Islam than we think. And that he thinks we will all be together in heaven because of the light that they do have." ???

The Bible specifically says... 1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Islam says Jesus is not God ... that he is just another prophet. Islam is the full spirit of anti-christ and as followers of Christ we are to have no association with it... other than to proclaim the gospel to the muslims.

I have also been enlightened by recent articles on the caustic combination of the EmergingChurch/Leftist/Islamic forces that will align to create a one world government, that have been foretold in Biblical prophecy. This is a long read but well worth it... there are 5 parts.

Thanks for the link. I watched about 10 mins of it and am trying to figure out when I have time to sit and watch the rest. Godspeed on your hunt for good church. I had to leave 2 churches because they were getting into all this stuff. I found a wonderful PCA church that is very firmly rooted in scripture alone and has been for a long time.
