Assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian a convicted felon known as Dr. Death is scheduled to speak at the University of Florida on January 15.
According to news reports:
* Dr. Kevorkian has killed 130 people * Dr. Kevorkian was convicted of first-degree murder and is currently on parole * Dr. Kevorkian will be given $50,000 to speak at the University of Florida
Students of Pro-Life Alliance at the University of Florida are protesting. TFP Student Action applauds their effort and encourages its members to also call for the cancellation of Dr. Kevorkians speech by signing a petition of protest to the president of the University of Florida, Dr. J. Bernard Machen.
With the forced starvation of Terri Schiavo still fresh in our nations memory, it is repugnant that a euthanasia advocate and convicted felon is invited to address students at the University of Florida.
Everyone is invited to urgently protest in a peaceful and lawful manner. And after you sign your instant e-protest to the president of the University of Florida, send this action alert to your friends and family. There is strength in numbers.
Call the presidents office: Dr. J. Bernard Machen President of the University of Florida 226 Tigert Hall P.O. Box 113150 Gainesville, FL 32611 Phone: (352) 392-1311 Fax: (352) 392-9506 president@ufl.edu

If the prolife students want U of F administration t listen they will need big bucks alumuni behind their request. They should contact prolife members of the Fla house and senate to find out which ones are alumunae and have them add their protest to this affront.
THE STATE
UF’s student government has an organization called “ACCENT” whose job is to bring various speakers to campus. The group usually does a commendable job of bringing a variety of speakers- both liberal and conservative. Past speakers have included Bob Dole and Bill Clinton. Of course in the early 1990’s the group got a lot of heat after an obscure “civil rights” activists named Louis Farakan spouted a bunch of anti-semitism.
PING!
Ping! and bump.
Tax dollars? Specific donation? Or just fungible?
