I'm asking for prayers for a Freeper FRiend, known as Gulfcoast6. He is a retired law-enforcement officer, having served in Mississippi for a number of years. He has been posting on America - The Right Way!, a long-time thread on this forum, for a number of years. He has been suffering with physical trouble for a number of months now and is facing a major operation. He just posted this information.
I am fighting my medical problems and hopefully soon it will be all over. One thing bout it, I have lost 38 pounds and still dropping the lbs off, slowly now. I look at it like this, instant diet plan, painful but instant.My parables. It is mostly my stomach, leaking innards, don’t know the word for it but it is serious, They need to get in but are having to wait until I get physically better, will be about another week and a half or so. I can assure you I can’t wait in order to get rid of all this pain.
Success wise, they give me 15 t0 25 percent of my enduring the operation. Of course this is minor to me comparing all the serious operations, injuries I have endured in my lifetime,
I just ask that you all keep me in your prayers and put me on your prayer lists as well as in your church.

I've been calling T's cell. No answer.
So I decided to call the hospital. I was told that Toby is in recovery. It looks like his operation was this a.m.
No information other than that was given to me because I'm not a family member...sheesh, yes I am. ;-)
T was there, but left minutes before I called.
I'll continue to call her cell phone.
Just spoke with T. The operation was yesterday. Toby is expected to go to a private room today.
He's in pain and has a morphine button to stop it when needed.
Nope his operation was not today, but yesterday. Sorry.

I am hurting still but not as bad as yesterday. I am sneaking on FR as I can’t seem to lay in bed anymore. Any good news on Toby? I am praying ..Pandy
No more news yet. I’m kinda expecting him to post a good morning about 0600 CST. He is an early-bird.

I just talked with Toby. They have him on pain meds so he sounded a little weak.
He can't wait to get home. That could be in a couple of days.
I told him that we are all praying for him.
I just read about your surgery and am so HAPPY you beat the 25% odds....no doubt in my mind as to why!

He's home. He called me about 5 minutes ago.(originally posted yesterday 3-13-08) He sounds much better. He still has some pain, but his voice sounds stronger.
He may try to post tomorrow.

Thank you. We’ve had no new updates. We know that Toby is at home, but in the daughter’s house and not in his “shack in the back.”
That tells me he needs some on-going care. Please keep praying.

***GOOD MORNING LYSIE, all from the Mississippi gulfcoast, usa!!!!
On my feet for real today, moving about, sore as a boil, pains still active from the operation.. The ‘team’ sure did a wonderful job withthe operation, all 5 hours of it. I go back in two weeks for a checkup and some stitches taken out.
I can’t tell you all what all your prayers meant to me , makes me understan just why we are all just a real close family.
I don’t mean to just put a short post here today but have to take my shower and go back ot bed and, yes, I am milking every minute of it but just learned that daughter has leaned my little game.
I will try to get on tomorrow to chat a little and again, thaks for all you your prayers.
