Iscool, Pyro probably should have used the example of the three chapters of God’s detailed instructions on how to put together the Tabernacle (Exodus 25, 26, and 27), which most certainly is about art and architecture. God told Moses to use gold, silver, brass, violet, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair, rams’ skins dyed red and violet, setim wood, oil for lights, spices for ointment and incense, onyx and other precious stones. He told Moses how to make the ark, the rings, the bars, the two cherubim for the top, the table, the dishes, bowls, censers, cups, the candlesticks, lamps, and snuffers; then the dimensions, the materials, and how each should be decorated. Then God gave Moses detailed instructions on how to make the tabernacle itself - the dimensions, fabrics, and decorations for the curtains and veils - even down to the smallest details, such as that each curtain should have fifty loops on both sides, with each loop set next to the other (Ex. 26:5). If God didn’t care about these details, then why did He go to the trouble of telling Moses, and then expecting that it would be done properly?
To say that God doesn’t care if things are beautiful or not flies in the face of evidence to the contrary, straight from Holy Scripture.
