The Arrival of the Anti-Christ Spirit in America

There are numerous examples that prove that the name of God and Jesus Christ is being attacked regularly by America’s politically correct government. Many American leaders support the removal of the name of God from the currency of the United States. They support the removal of the name of God from the walls of Federal buildings (the Ten Commandments and encrypted scriptures) and from U.S. government documents, such as flag certificates. They also have tried to prevent the mention of God in the funeral ceremonies for deceased veterans buried in Veteran Administration cemeteries. Of course, everyone should remember the “One Nation Under God” issue related to pledging allegiance to the United States’ flag.

“...the end times are near.”

I hear that said more and more often. Those in the extermination camps during WWII and in Siberia must have believed the same because they hoped it to be true to release them from their suffering.

Don’t be surprised if this world will continue longer than many predict it to last. After all, we are not to know when the end comes. I could be tonight.

All that you say is true, ponder this, each day is one day closer to His return!

“After all, we are not to know when the end comes. It could be tonight.”

Amen, even so, Lord Jesus, come.

"Don’t be surprised if this world will continue longer than many predict it to last."

Every generation since Jesus was murdered has thought they were the last before the return of Christ. But eventually one will be right. And I think that's just the way Jesus wanted it.

Nothing a gallows couldn't fix.

Yes, but it is His gift of mercy that the day of judgement is postponed, that all who might be saved will be saved; and none but the Father know when that day will be.

The world may have many more years, but America as was founded is over. Anyway, we made it past the 200 yr. average.

The British, the Roman and Chinese empires lasted longer than 200 years. The reason our country didn’t last that long is because of our vulnerable 1st Amendment that assigns equal rights to the good, the bad (and the ugly) without any distinction.

In our system, even the immoral have the right to be heard. We therefore make no difference between right and wrong. Our 1st Amendment is like a free-for-all without any restrictions and discipline. We emphasize citizens’ rights but say nothing about the responsibilities that must accompany these rights.

It was good while it lasted. I pity the next generation.

I disagree with your statement on the 1st Amendment. As long as the good and bad can be heard equally people would be able to make an informed decision. We have people being silenced because of political correctness. Homosexuality is a big one. Even the right-wing talk show hosts are afraid to speak out against it. I believe the Founding Fathers were brilliant in their creation, along with the hand of God, of this country. Corrupt politicians and lawyers have bastardized what was good in this country.

“I believe the Founding Fathers were brilliant in their creation, along with the hand of God, of this country.”

Totally agree with you, however the Founding Fathers were not able to foresee the future and I still believe that, had they lived in the 20th century, they would have written the document differently e.g. how could they possibly have allowed good and bad to coexist and give it equal value. It only means that no distinction is made between right and wrong.

You say that the hand of God was involved in the creation of the Constitution. If that is true, the F.F. did not pay attention to God’s advice because God definitely DOES NOT assign equal value to right and wrong. If He did, there would not be any need for the Ten Commandments. (By the way, they’re not to be displayed any longer.)

If you look at the behavior and abusiveness of some “Christians” right here on FR toward their fellow Christians who they have doctrinal disagreements with, you can readily see the anti-Christ spirit and how it has invaded our society.

The equal value to right and wrong is the choice of our current democracy. We elect the people we deserve. If we didn’t have that ability, we would be blaming the FF for not giving us that option. Their hands are clean of the society that we have created.

Forgot to say, God gives us that ability too.
