The Voice of Change is Stirring Us to Come UP from the Wilderness!
Dear Friends and Intercessors:
We are heading into two of the most rearranging, realigning months that we have ever known in the history of this generation. What occurs during these days will set a course for our lives and this nation. The Lord woke me at 1 o'clock on Tuesday morning, March 4th, 2008. As I walked into the bathroom I noticed a calligraphy verse: "Lean not on your own understanding." This verse lit up even though the light was not on in the bathroom. The verse became red and yellow like fire. When I went back in at 5 AM, I noticed that the verse was actually in navy blue!
I heard the Lord begin to say: "Lean not on your own understanding today. I am calling you to watch the way that begins to form! For I am forming and reforming the way for My people! Abrasive circumstances will increase over these next 40 days. Lean not on your own understanding. I will show you things that you do not know during this time. I will cause you to see the pattern that I am forming. Do not fall into an understanding of the past, even the past 40 years, for in the next 40 days I am producing a new time of understanding in My people. For My wisdom is not your wisdom. I am creating a fear and an awe of Me!
I will show you how evil is working. I will let you hear the voice of evil-- that voice that has been distracting, confronting, and taunting you. My cause will rise up in you. My words will form in your mouth. You will speak it to the atmosphere and the atmosphere around you will change.
I am forming a highway in your wilderness. It will not be made of shifting sand. The foundation for your future is being laid. I will cause you to see the land that will be made sure for you. Lean not on your own understanding. Allow these next 40 days to be that which will change the atmosphere from one of a mesmerizing force to the power of God in your midst.
Honor ME with a shout! Bless My Name. For My name is replacing the name of the enemy on the gates of entry into your future. Where the enemy had your gate blocked, I am now rising up to give you authority and entry into your new place!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Me and I will direct your path. Do not just look at your circumstances--do not lean on your own understanding! Keep your mind stayed upon Me. Do NOT allow your abilities to be your trust.
I will create a strong people that will rule in every sphere of authority. Spheres of authority will be rearranged in these next 40 days. The power of My words in your mouth will cause a breakthrough. Don't miss your window of opportunity or fail to recognize the catalyst I am creating for rearranged momentum. Receive an anointing to leap over the mountain that has been deceiving and intimidating you.
Don't be afraid of your storm this week, for I will reorder your way and will cause your times to be changed. I'll set you ahead of that which would overtake you and cause you to be overwhelmed. So don't fear the storm. Watch the rain and wind work to your benefit! Hear the keys shaking, for I am rattling the gates of hell. Decree the blockade that wouldn't open up and let you move forward, even in your emotions--is being unlocked and that you are now able to move forward.
Your path will become straight so that I might enter a new way. What is too high will come down and that which is too low will come up. I can bring the prideful into right order and bring the humble into a new place of seeking. I am creating a straight path for us to walk into the future. May you see the path on which I will lead you into the future. Allow Me to come into your midst and prepare a way through this wilderness and into your next place.
I control the end from the beginning. There is nothing that happens in the earth realm that is outside of MY dominion. Agree that My will will be done on earth as it is in Heaven this day. Look up and see Me as the King who reigns. See Heaven's highway forming in the earth realm around you. I am not asking you to go under, but to come up! Find the high way into the place that I have for you.
Hear My voice in the wilderness. Though you have been unsure of the way you are to go, today I am beginning to call you new and fresh. This is a time when you must not miss that window of momentum. Do not be content to only sit and be taught every day because teaching alone will not get you to your next place. You must have the anointing to leap over that mountain. My call is being extended from the heavenly realm.
War for the next 21 days to see My call come forth. Those that will hear the call that I have for them this hour know how to follow after the call that I am extending. This is not about a person you are following--but a call that I am placing to set a course for you out of one place and into another. Hear the call! My voice is entering into your valley and your wilderness and saying, 'Come up with Me!'
Now is the time of restructured vision. Now is the time of finding your place to stand on the land, a place that will not sink when you stand, a land that will not confuse or entrap you. Hear My voice in your wilderness. For in 40 days, I will begin to qualify those that have received and embraced My call!
Do not allow the enemy's voice to confuse you in the next few days. You will be accosted by the enemy three times to keep you from finding and standing firm on the highway that I am forming to bring you through and into your new! Watch carefully and know the different voices this hour. Voices will bring confusion into your atmosphere. In the midst of this time, you must know what you are to follow. This is a time when confusing voices over your financial state and the state of the world would create a disheartening emotion that would lead to fear.
I am the God of the gold and silver. I am the one who can shake loose new finances. I am the one who can cause things to be let go so you can move in and go through the gates I have for you. Do not let a narrow, high path in front of you seem to be too steep for you to climb. I am making a straight path and causing you to be directed in a new way these next 40 days.
You have never been this way before. Nations are hanging in the balance! My Kingdom government will now begin to rise up and form to influence the government of the earth. I am a God who creates a Highway that can only be seen by eyes who know My glory. You will know me as King and ruler. I confounded the gods of Egypt. I confounded the Roman Empire.
Let Me form the words in your mouth to confront those things that would keep you from finding the highway I have prepared in the wilderness. Only My voice can guide you through and to this narrow road! In the midst of these three confrontations, NOW I am forming the words for you to use to stop your enemy from overtaking you. This is a corporate call for My people to rise up. In this corporate call you must be a people who know how to confront the atmospheric war around you.
I am raising up an abrasive time that will provoke you and produce My jealousy in you so you rise up with a new war mantle against the forces of hell in your midst. I will raise the abrasion! I will provoke MY people to action. Wake from your slumber and stupor and hear Me now to come forth! Do not lean on your own understanding. Go with My flow and watch Me make a direct path. Watch Me cause a path to come into order.
Renew the foundation. I am ready to build again. I will begin to build your future. Activate that way that I am calling you. Do not fear going into the brush and the brambles to find the hidden treasure that you will use to build My altar this hour. Today I am activating you. The intensity of the time is now upon you. I am activating you and calling you to hear what is coming into your atmosphere. Be delivered from a deaf and dumb spirit that would keep you from speaking and hearing at the right time.
Rise up and create a path. Change an atmosphere and you will be able to take a stand in that land. Let Zion call forth. I am calling forth to Zion within you to rise up. Prepare for a quick change. Prepare for a quick change. Write the vision. Make it plain. Prepare for a quick change. I am calling for a new release of power over these 40 days. Do not lean on your own understanding. Go in My direction to create a power shift!"

Walk in the modern prophetic even 6 months . . . beginning as a learning in the refiner’s fires neophyte . . . then ask your question again.

I’ve corresponded with Bill Burns when I was still in Asia. I’ve always found him quite practical, grounded, Loves Jesus etc. His ministry has blessed me a number of times.
Chuck Pierce is respected by a number of folk I respect. I have found him a bit of a mixed bag. But I think he hears God more than not. I think he can get in his own way occasionally.
But both these docs are at least in the ball park of my own antennae at this time.
We shall see.
My understanding of your experience in the modern prophetic is that it’s fairly nil.
I think he supports stoning.
And I suspect that he expects even Jr prophets to be 100% perfect from their first efforts forward.
Of course, I still think the modern prophetic world in Christianity is a mess.
But the valid is still valid. Sorting it all out is still such a major chore that I don’t bother much with it except occasional checks to see what’s going on in the field.
I’m convinced God is going to clean it all up perhaps very dramatically. Until then, we certainly all see through a glass darkly.
The biblical measure of a prophet is 100% accuracy. There is nothing anywhere in Scripture to indicate that the standard has changed.
So, we will wait and see.

A Jealous God

Have you ever sensed spiritual resistance, as though some power much greater than you was deliberately opposing your success? We often assume it is the devil who is fighting us. Allow me to suggest that, on some occasions, what is standing in your way may not be an enemy at all; it may actually be the jealousy of God.
Is the Almighty jealous for us? Yes. The Lord describes Himself often in the Bible as “a jealous God” (Ex. 20:5, 34:14; Deut. 4:24, 5:9, etc.). We should expect He would be jealous since we have actually been created for His pleasure. While His covering, nurturing love accepts us as we are, a time comes when He begins to confront the false gods, the idols, which rule in our hearts. Indeed, anything in us that denies Him full access to our souls, that stands between our hearts and His, becomes His enemy.
The revelation that His jealousy will fight against our hidden idols can be frightening if we are intent upon sin, yet it can also be liberating if we desire intimacy with Him. For He will not allow us to find enduring fulfillment in something apart from Him.
Listen to His command in Exodus: “Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, lest it become a snare in your midst. But rather, you are to tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and cut down their Asherim -— for you shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” (Ex. 34:12-14).
Oh, let us hear God’s heart in trembling fear. The Lord’s very name is Jealous. Jealousy is central to His nature. Indeed, it is an abomination that false gods should occupy our hearts, for we are the temple of God.
A Land Of Idols
Israel committed many sins, but the worst of them involved idol worship; idolatry, beyond all others, tried God’s heart. How does that relate to us, you ask? We don’t have other gods in our society. Yes, we do. Though they are not standing openly in our city squares (usually), the idols in our land are just as demanding. In fact, our nation is full of false gods that influence both our actions and our thoughts. Since we each were created to worship God in focused purity, God must confront the idols in our hearts. Indeed, from His view idolatry is unfaithfulness.
Recall the Lord’s word, “No one can serve two masters.” One of the most dominant idols in our culture is obsession with wealth. Even though our currency says “In God We Trust,” it is more often the dollar we rely upon, not God. In fact, while billions of the world’s poor starve, we are addicted to spending our wealth selfishly upon ourselves.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, “You cannot serve (bow before) God and mammon.” God, not money, must be our master. If we tithe, give to the poor, and do not let money rule us, wealth can certainly become our servant, and thus a blessing to us and others. But if we allow finances to rule us, mammon can easily become a false God adding stress and greed to our existence. Yet, remember: Jesus did not say we couldn’t have money; He said we couldn’t serve money. The voice of mammon must be subdued if the Lord alone is to be our Master.
Betrothed To One Lord
Consider the powerful influence that entertainment, sports, fashion and the drive for success and materialism have over American society. If the Lord has to compete with our passions, then we are harboring idols in our hearts. Fear also is a powerful idol that rules many souls, especially during these times.
We must see God’s jealousy as His desire to love and shelter us through life. He is without the dark, evil elements that human jealousy has. But even with our finite understanding, we know jealousy is response to unfaithfulness in a loved one. Once human jealousy awakens, it easily can become a consuming fire. If this has happened to you, then you know somewhat how our unfaithfulness affects the Lord’s heart. Paul certainly was thinking about this when he wrote, “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin” (2 Cor. 11:2).
James 4:5 says, “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us.” Yet, James also said, “You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4).
The Lord jealously desires our spirit; He calls us into oneness with Him, where we live fearlessly and radiantly as His bride in the earth. Sometimes, as I seek the Lord, I call Him by His name “Jealous.” It has a profound effect on my heart. I know He knows me and loves me. As I surrender to Him, I actually advance deeper into the secret chambers of His love. Yet, should I pursue other things at the expense of my time with Him -— even this writing itself -— I feel the fire of His jealousy. I am hemmed in and unable to advance successfully anywhere except toward Him.
The Idol Of Wanton Immorality
We’ve discussed the idol of mammon and we’ve mentioned other idols such as fear and worldliness. But let me also speak candidly about another false god: the powerful idol of unbridled sexuality.
Remember, in Exodus 34 we previously read the Lord’s command to cut down the Asherim. The Asherim were fertility goddesses worshiped in the ancient pagan countries surrounding Israel. They were demons that had infested human sexuality and perverted it until sex actually became a central object of worship.
Today, in America, we may not have Asherim or fertility poles on the street corners, but certainly the realm of human sexuality has been exploited by the demonic realm. Sexuality is the bait used to sell a myriad of products that, in themselves, have nothing to do with sex. It’s a demonic power in our world that is corrupting millions of people.
Let me be very plain: If you’re watching movies or looking at other media that glorifies wanton or perverted sexuality, you’re serving a demonic idol. My friends, don’t compromise with immoral entertainment. Don’t compromise with the sensuality that oozes from most of the fashion and music industries. Put an Internet filter on your computer so you won’t stumble. Get rid of the cable movie channels that bring immorality into your home. One thing leads to another and you will soon be under the power of a corrupting and addicting influence that will literally consume your soul.
The Lord created sexuality for the purpose of natural reproduction. Reproduction is God’s design, yes. But Satan has manipulated God’s purpose in order to bind people to their fleshly identity. Once bound, we find ourselves trapped in an almost irresistible and insatiable hunger for increasingly perverse forms of sexuality, none of which have a purpose in reproduction or marriage fulfillment.
Beloved, don’t tolerate open doors to immoral filth. Capture the first inclinations toward sensuality, for it leads to seduction and many a life has been destroyed by this idol. Do not “own” perverse thoughts that urge you toward adulterous or homosexual lifestyles. If you fall, get up, repent, and rise again (See Mic. 7:7-8). Remember, God wants you to destroy the idol of wanton sexuality, not have it destroy you. You must be aggressive and stand up and fight!
Before we pray, let’s recap: God jealously desires your heart. He is looking for people who are faithful to Him in their spirits. And, He calls us to tear down and destroy the inner idols that hold influence over us.
Lord Jesus, I submit my heart to You. I want a heart free from idols, free from false gods, free from demonic masters. Father, I repent for allowing idols in my heart. In Jesus’ name, I take authority over every unclean spirit that has gained access to my life through my compromise. Lord, be Thou the only God who sits in the temple of my heart.”

Not at all.
All of the extra spiritually mature, anointed, discerning and alert folks I know have been feeling similar things for some time. I think these docs articulate things fairly well and encouragingly.
I’ve been waiting for some of God’s surprises in terms of His paradigm shifts for those most Loving Him for many months. We shall see if the timing is right.
I’ve never found anyone’s timing very right on such things. But I know that, too, has to be cleaned up before we get too much further down the END TIMES road.

Kiddies can’t seem to resist a trumped up opportunity to be caustic, derisive, dismissive and all the rest of such “mature” attitudes and perspectives . . . vs just walking on by.
Kind of reminds me of kiddies super attracted to playing with fire before they’re old enough to do so remotely safely.

I’ve posted hereon a Biblical explanation why that stoning thing is so chronically misapplied in the New Testament context. Alas, it didn’t fit folks biases so was dismissed out of hand.
This time around, I think I’ll just leave such folks further uninformed and to God’s discipline for their evident attitudes. God certainly sorts such better than I do.
If this dersiveness keeps up another 12 or so hours, I’d probably suggest your asking the RM to retitle it as a Caucus thread.
Some folks have a totally inadequate perspective for appreciating such docs and coupled with that absolutely no resistence to posting like bratty “nyna, nyna, nyana” screaming 2 year olds.
As a Bible teacher and pastor for over 30 years, I have seen this kind of thing come and go. Chuck Pierce is a very strange one, to be sure. I have not posted to throw stones, or to be childish. I post to warn you not to be tossed about by every wind of doctrine. Pierce’s citing of Jewish months, as some pattern for the church, his hawking of wares, etc, are shameful. Just be cautious. Be like the Bereans, and search the Scriptures to be sure that what he says is true. He does not have a very good track record...and in the spirit of Jude, I seek to contend earnestly for the faith.
Of course we must test all things with Scripture as well as test every spirit . . .
I deplore so much hawking of wares as well.
However, as someone God has sometimes shared input for others through, I know that flawless hearing and speaking . . . for an individual . . . is an exceedingly rare thing but not fitting to throw baby out with bath. A vast number of such inputs from me have brought much life to other folks and brought them much closer to God.
Some of us are well beyond any doubt that God speaks as in Acts 2; I Cor 12-14
This is the third time of "abrasion" and it's the "charm"! Gather up your skirts and "Do not fear going into the brush and the brambles to find the hidden treasure."
Ding! Ding! Hear that bell? That really isn't the voices in your head this time! Run!
Not to mention, sooner or later, we will ALL give an account for every word we have spoken (or written), per Romans 14:12.

As I recently read in a David Wilkerson article, nowhere in the Bible does it speak of believers panicking in the Last Days. They trust in God and call on Him in times of calamity, they have rest and peace. We are to commit ourselves to God’s covenant promises to keep and protect us and our loved ones during the Difficult Times ahead. The One who watches over us does not slumber, neither does He sleep. (Psalm 121).
HIGHLIGHTS: Wilkerson says in “Getting Ready for the Coming of the Lord”, February 2008, many are addicted to the things of this world, and the Coming of Jesus would be disruptive to them. They scoff at Christ’s return, as it says in 2 Peter 3. And yet, Jesus waits, hoping to show mercy even to them.
We can be preoccupied with world events thinking they point to the End Times. Wilkerson reminds us that God tells us to look to our own hearts, and to be diligent to keep His Word.
And then, of course, there’s a big question:
Luke 18:8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
He will be looking for folks who have faith, for those who believed His promise that He will come again, for those who know this earth is not their home.
Though Jesus doesn’t tell the day or the hour He will be back, He does give a description of what society will be like at that time, per Matthew 24:
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour[f] your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
So, what is Jesus saying about these ordinary scenes? Simply put, he’s describing people who had determined to reject God’s warnings of judgment. Remember, Noah prophesied to his society for 120 years, warning that total destruction was coming.
Jesus warns that people will ignore the call to be ready, giving no thought to His coming, ignoring the prophetic signs.
In a moment, Christ will gather His bride. Who is looking for, yearning for His coming?
Some folks think they’re ready but they’re not, Matt. 24 again:
42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour[f] your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ [g] 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.

There is indeed but one intercessor between God and man, you wascally, unbiblical Catholic, and don't you ever forget it.
"Intercession" is only unbiblical when Catholics apply it to the saints and angels in heaven. It's OK when it applies to fellow Protestant Christians walking the earth.

Say what you will, but I awoke from a dream a few months ago convinced that God had spoken to me because a specific phrase kept repeating over and over again in my head: See how society debases itself. I am watching . . . and waiting, thirsting for more. And I’m not a kook.

Such things tend to depend on experience for belief.

I too have heard some odd “prophecies”. But, as others have said, I’ll chime in, I NEVER discount a word as not being from the Lord. It’s an art form, hearing from the Lord and then speaking it aloud. It could be one’s imagination or an evil spirit, too. So, we use discernment. And when it seems fitting, we report what we hear.
I certainly would not want to say something’s not of the Lord that is of Him.
My walk with Jesus has included being led of the Spirit and being obedient even when other folks (even some who say they are Christians) mock me and heap ridicule on me. He uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I don’t go out of my way to appear foolish, but I don’t avoid it, either, if that’s what He chooses for me, then He bears my shame. I trust Him with the outcome.
I don’t know exactly how other types of Christians walk by faith. For me, it includes relying on the Holy Spirit.
The end result no matter how each walks by faith, for all believers, hopefully, is that they live fruitful lives, with worship in their hearts for the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Son of God and the Savior of the world, knowing Him and being known by Him, so that they will finally hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter now into the rest I have prepared for you.”
We are baptized into one Body, Christ is the head of that Body, the first to rise from the dead. We believers are ALL members of the same body. There are times we speak the truth in love to one another. Perfect love casts out fear, so speaking the truth to one another should be a gentle thing.
Apart from Him, nothing we do has lasting significance. So, let’s remember we are one body, all of us relying on His life in us.
And yet, the works we do that are of Him will follow us into eternity.
I seek Him and I ask Him to help me be obedient, that He may use my life for His purposes, that I may love Him with my whole heart and love my neighbor as myself. If that includes sharing prophetic words, then others will be edified and reminded to keep on that straight and narrow path and will be stirred up to yield to Him more and serve Him wholeheartedly. May His purposes be accomplished.
He looks at the motives of all of our hearts. He is looking for sincerity. He’s looking for devotion to Him and to His Kingdom. He’s looking for loving attitudes. He’s looking to see what Spirit each of us is of.
May He be pleased.

I don’t see anywhere in the Bible that we are told to pray to angels or the saints in Heaven. In fact, to be on the safe side, I would avoid speaking to the dead, per Leviticus
Leviticus 19:31 Regard not those who have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits and after wizards to go a whoring after them, I will even set My face against that soul and will cut him off from among his people.
