How do you daven?
A ger toshav and ger tzedeq are two completely different things. A ger tzedeq is a full convert to Judaism. Gerei toshav are a special category of Benei Noach who have given their names before the Sanhedrion in Jerusalem and who may therefore live in 'Eretz Yisra'el. Yet they are not Jews. They observe the Noachide Laws, not the Mosaic ones. Please note that Gerei Toshav can only exist at a time when the laws of Yovel (the jubilee year) are in effect. Thus there are no gerei toshav at this time. However, one may still fully convert to Judaism and become a ger tzedeq.
How do you daven?
I recite the Tehillim according to the monthly schedule.
Many blessings from HaShem, and gut yuntif!
Todot rabbot, chaveri!
A convert and a ger tzedeq are one and the same thing. It refers to a non-Jew who formally and halakhically converts to Orthodox Judaism. It does not refer to Noachides of any kind.
Actual conversion, though permitted, is discouraged (at least initially; the one who persists is encouraged). It is a very big deal. Halakhically one is "born again" in a legal sense. One is no longer halakhically related to his relatives; his halakhic parents are Abraham and Sarah. The convert is immersed in a miqveh, is circumcized (if male), and must bring a qorban to the Temple when it is rebuilt and functioning.
That one I am not familiar with! Can we have a translation for the goyim? :)
Mo`adim lesimchah!
Pre-Shabbat bump.
